Looks like I have an apprentice. I've been saying this for nearly a month, since the time where more people were concerned about facing the A's in the playoffs or making sure we rest guys like Pods and Hermanson. 10.5 is not a guaranteed lead, and there's no guarantee we play even .500 baseball the rest of the way. Enough with the excuses by everyone, we just need to win some f***ing games!

The problem I have is when people go "it's only a 5 game skid, better to have happened now than later". The thing is, there's no guarantee this is only a 5 game skid. It's not like we're playing well, but just aren't getting the breaks. We've looked like s*** for quite a while, and it's finally catching up to us.

Considering the price it would cost to get Guardado, and the fact that if you don't score, you don't need a closer.....I'm totally against trading for him.

Bill Mueller would be a huge upgrade over Crede. Mueller is a very consistent hitter who can be counted on to put together good ABs. There's not much of a difference in their defense either.

Ozzie needs to do what about 20 other players in that locker room need to do: pick their games up.
