  1. She might be a talented writer and she may be a die hard fan but sometimes she goes to far with some of the things she says.
  2. From a Yankee board: Some other guy: -This guy was ripped on bad for suggesting the Yankees hit Rowland (as they call him) Another guy: This one is my favorite, appearantly when a 1st place team like the White Sox has a very good player like Rowand playing a key position very well for them they immediatly look to trade him to the Yankees because they need a CFer. He's locked up through '07, he's not goin' anywhere.
  3. OMG, they just said Row made a case for a GG during the Yankee series on SportsCenter, this is major slurpage comming out of Bristol.
  4. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) BBTN just absolutely blew Rowand. He's gonna have to pry them off of his crotch with a crowbar. Welcome to GG status, Aaron. Harold Reynolds was bobben', is this the beginning of a love affair between Row and the national media?
  5. QUOTE(That funky motion @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 08:58 PM) Like I said in the game thread. The Yanks will be calling kenny in the off season to make him a Yankmee. According to KW, Rowand is an untouchable.
  6. QUOTE(longshot7 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 08:41 PM) So what? There's nothing wrong with cheating even if you get caught. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Even without the steroids, he'd still have 3000 hits. You people are too high and mighty. I'm sure you never do anything wrong either. There's obviously something wrong with it if it's illegal don't you think?
  7. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 07:28 PM) Well, if I were voting I'd have trouble voting for a guy who was injured for 1/3 of the season, but that's just me. Raffy Palmeiro played 28 games at 1B and won the GG. I could definatly see Hunter winning the GG this year.
  8. I will say this for the last time. IMO Ken Griffey Jr. will NOT be claimed by any team. He will clear waivers, that does not mean he'll come to the Sox, all it means is that the Reds will have full power to trade him to what ever team they wish if they want.

    RETRO SIG TIME

    QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) I believe the idea is to actually SPORT your sig... Maybe I'd rather use an older one but I havn't found it yet or maybe you should just worry about Adawale and Ricky's relationship and leave me alone.
  10. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) Does it not look like Waly is eating Williams ass???? Honetly... OMG!!! NO!! :headshake
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 04:22 PM) Look at the picture... I did, I saw a leg comming out of the back of the Prince, I didn't think man orgy.
  12. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:57 PM) Muscular Man-Orgy... :puke Figures that would be the first thing to pop into your head.
  13. QUOTE(Texsox @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) I'm setting the over/under on 4 days until the next person attempts that trick. Over
  14. QUOTE(heirdog @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:24 PM) I think Borchard should get the call-up now in place of Adkins while Carl is down. We really have not used Adkins all that much so carrying 12 pitchers when we have a serious hole (or holes) in our line-up is a problem. Since most pitchers are right-handed, Borchard gives us the power left-handed bat in the line-up. I know he has been a bust to this point but he is playing well right now and if there is any time he is going to succeed, it will be now when he is hot so let's get some use out of the $5.3 million signing bonus. Anderson should get the call in September especially if Borchard struggles again but for some reason, I think Borchard will be successfull this time. Borchard is not good, he may be playing well right now at Charlotte but he does this every year, we havn't used Adkins lately because a lot of our games have been close so we havn't needed that long reliever. Adkins could be very valuable to this team down the stretch in the long spot. We don't need anymore strikeouts in this lineup right now. Borch can have fun at Charlotte.
  15. QUOTE(SHAFTR @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:40 AM) too bad there was a net Then he would have landed on someone and severly injured them, I say thank god there's a net and thank god that it held.
  16. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:21 AM) Who was the poster who said he wasn't going to be very good again when he 1st pitched against Detroit? GoSox05, not that I'm naming names or anything.
  17. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:10 AM) This thread doesn't speak for the entire fanbase, its a very select few who don't know there ass from there hand. You just conversed with a troll, congrats.
  18. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 11:59 PM) Bring me Leo THe only problem with that is he's not any good. Otherwise hel yeah Leo Dailgle all the way. He's at Winston Salem and he'll be there for a while, maybe in 3 more years he'll be able to hit AA pitching.
  19. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 11:24 PM) http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250809110 Darwinism has failed this young man.

  21. QUOTE(mwolfson @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 11:09 PM) I WAS AT THE GAME IN THE FIRST ROW BEHIND THE WHITE SOX DUGGOUT AND SAW THE THING HAPPEN AND THEN HEARD OZZIE SAY "CRAZY GUY, CRAZY" (WHILE STARRING AT THE GUY ON THE NET)... IT WAS PRETTY STRANGE! P.S. Paulie threw me a ball and I was the kid wearing the Black Sox shirt and Sox hat... Some friends saw me THAT'S REALLY COOL
  22. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Aug 9, 2005 -> 11:05 PM) I don't know much about him besides the hype, whose he being compared to? Doc Gooden.
  23. He is still not aloud to throw the slider. After next year or towards the end of the year you'll see him throw it.
