I didn't look like Kotsay thought that ball was fair at first. -

Jeez Konerko. 1 down. It'd be great to get 3 this inning. -
Roy Halladay throws a perfect game!

QUOTE (Benchwarmerjim @ May 29, 2010 -> 08:43 PM) Sanchez, then buehrle, then Jimenez, then Braden, then Halladay I think Sanchez would've had a perfect game had Juan Uribe not committed an error if I remember right. -
The Twins have 3 double plays in 3 innings against the Rangers. But the Rangers are up 1-0.

Only 6 games back. Hard to believe. Let's get rolling!

About 2 months ago I was pulled over for speeding and I posted it in this thread. Didn't have a problem with getting a ticket because I was speeding pretty well. Today I got pulled over by the same trooper in a different town. I had just got done at a job site where I picked up some supplies. I got into the company truck and started on my merry way. Less than 2 blocks later while I was driving and putting on my seatbelt, I was pulled over for not having my seatbelt on and got a $94 ticket. I suppose I shouldn't have a problem with it because I was breaking the rules. But I'm assuming this guy was waiting for me to leave, seeing if I had my seatbelt on or not. Either way it sucks that I went 2 blocks and had my seatbelt halfway on and got pulled over.

I was just thinking about him a week or two ago for some reason. This sucks. RIP.

I had a blast hitting a baseball into the corn field when I was younger. Haven't been back since though.

QUOTE (WCSox @ May 20, 2010 -> 06:13 PM) Your comparison of the impact of one player in two very unlike sports is dumb, to put it nicely. Since a discussion of "carrying" a team to a second-place finish or a strike is pointless, I'll focus on the '93 season, where they actually won something and played in the ALCS... Mo in '93: .915 OPS Frank in '93: 1.033 OPS You're right, they wouldn't have had a chance! That slight downgrade in production would've made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. The starting pitching in '93 was better and Roberto Hernandez was a better closer than both Hermanson and Jenks... 1993 Wilson Alvarez - 143 ERA+ Alex Fernandez - 135 ERA+ Jack McDowell - 125 ERA+ Jason Bere - 122 ERA+ Roberto Hernandez - 1.09 WHIP 2005 Mark Buehrle - 144 ERA+ Jon Garland - 128 ERA+ Jose Contreras - 125 ERA+ Freddy Garcia - 116 ERA+ Dustin Hermanson - 1.10 WHIP Bobby Jenks - 1.25 WHIP As important a part as Frank was to the '93 AL West Champions, he didn't "carry" the team to the division title. The pitching did. McDowell, Fernandez, Alverez, Bere. Such a great young rotation that year. It would've been nice if those 4 were pillars of our rotation throughout the 90's.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ May 19, 2010 -> 11:17 PM) So I read somewhere today that Megan Fox isn't going to be in Transformers 3. Heard this rumor before, but I wonder if it's actually true or not. I'm Super Sad!

I don't think I could ever get a tattoo because I know once I got it, I wouldn't like it later on in life. The only thing I could see myself getting is if one of my siblings or cousins died at a very young age. If that were to happen, I could see myself getting one because it would mean something important to me.
-
I just want to get to .500, then I'll start to believe we have a chance at the Twins.

Utah Jazz I can always pray for miracles.

I know you Bulls fans will be excited to have LeBron if he choses Chicago, and I can't blame you. But if LeBron goes to the Bulls, the Bulls might be my most hated NBA team. But I think that's a price you guys are willing to take, haha.

I went to Robin Hood on Friday night. Although I thought it was alright, I wasn't impressed becaused I was expected it to be a little better. To me, it didn't get really interesting until the very end of the movie.
