I'd agree wtih you, I may be hopeful but I don't think Mac or Thornton are going to have that high of an ERA next year. I think if Wasserman can pitch the same way, and I'm hoping Logan can continue to improve. Jenks should be Jenks still. There are a lot of ifs going into next year, but if we can get those 5 to peform well, and hopefully another couple of players, whether by having breakout years or signing a guy, we'll be in good shape.

that's why Ventura is my favorite former Sox player, among other reasons.

I think the media presense is a big factor. They might be able to talk a big game, but can they play it. Freddie Mitchell comes to mind to being bad at both of those.

There are many ways to score, maybe you can even somehow get a technical foul against them somehow. Just start flopping too, that might help get personal fouls toward them.

What's the consensus on trading Crede, are people for it or against it? I don't know if I like it, he's been with the team for a while now, so personally I'd hate to see him go, but if this trade helps out this team, then I'd be more apt to agree on the trade. If these are Crede's last days here, then I have to say I appreciate everything he's done for this team, his clutch hitting at the end, his great defense, and his power numbers.

whoever the starting CF is, I think the most crucial part of this teams success is how Thome, Konerko, and Dye do. Being the veterans and leaders they are, if they get off to hot start, this team will be much better than last year.
