I'm sad to see Tadahito go and I wish him the best of luck in Philly. -

QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 10:47 PM) One of Uribe's homers actually went 824 feet. and he batted left handed too. -
cmon Danks, get out of this
-
At least Uribe hit the ball decent that time.
-
I liked his facial expression, especially the eyes when he was running back to catch that ball.

I'd like to see Tim Couch come back. I never had a problem with him, probably because he never played on a team I really cared for though.

let me know stuff so I can be a mean brother and tell my sister everything before she gets done reading it, haha. i probably wouldn't do that and even though i don't read those books i'd still like to know who dies, what else happens, how it ends and stuff.

QUOTE(greg775 @ Jul 21, 2007 -> 01:08 AM) I'd have to agree with everything you said. He's kind of Kip Wells-ish right now. I think he's Todd Richie-ish right now.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 21, 2007 -> 12:55 PM) Were the Cardinals better than the Mets, Dodgers, and Padres last year? That's not the question you have to ask. The question is, can you win 3/5 and 4/7? And you have to think that Zambrano can get 3 of those wins on his own, maybe even 4 if the schedule falls out right. Yeah well said. I still can't except the Cardinals as world champions even though they won it fair and square, winning the division and winning all of their playoff series. If your pitching comes at the right time, just like ours did in 2005, then you'll be tough to beat. The Cardinals had something like the 13th best regular season record in all of baseball and still ended up winning it all, crazy. -
It'd be great to take 3 of 4 from these guys, heck, a sweep would be fantastic. I won't look too far ahead though, only one game at a time. Great win tonight though.

this is crazy to see all of these numbers go that fast.

way to get on base Owens

Paulie!!!!

should've gotten more runs there with 3 walks and 2 hits, but at least we got 2.
-
Lugo and Uribe have identical averages, both play short stop, and both are batting last.

QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jul 19, 2007 -> 06:00 PM) 753 I want to go to Milwaukee for the weekend, but I figure he will only play in 2, maybe even 1 game, depending on if he hits 754. There is SRO left for the game though. I want to go to Milwaukee too but sadly it's not going to happen.

Albert Belle interested in owning White Sox
WilliamTell replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I think Albert regrets going to Baltimore instead of sticking with Chicago. -
Finally.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 9, 2007 -> 05:36 PM) Be honest with us... Your neighbor's hot and she keeps her windows open. lol you got me, she's down the hill from me so I need something stronger than binoculars to see her. QUOTE(southsida86 @ Jul 9, 2007 -> 06:41 PM) I am a big astronomy enthusiast. The first question I'd ask is: do you know how to find deep space objects without a autostar type thing? If so, the best thing for you might be an 8 inch Dobsonian reflector. An Orion Skyquest Classic goes for $370, which is in your price range. If you don't know how to find DSOs on your own, then you can't get a scope worth your time in that price range. I like deep space stuff and planets, but at the time I purchased my scope, portability was a big must for me along with the fact that I don't know how to find stuff on my own, so I ended up getting an ETX 125(5 inch Mak-Cass). If I would have known better I would have purchased an 8 inch LXD55. (LXD75 now) Look on astromart.com for used stuff. It sells at 50% cheaper than new stuff at times. Beware though, they charge a user fee to join, but if you find something worthwile, then it is well worth it. Most amateur astronomers treat their equipment with great respect, so you have nothing to worry about on faulty equipment if you buy used. i probably don't know how to find deep space objects since i've never tried, thanks for the website too.

I've been into astronomy for a long time, but I don't know muc about telescopes, I know I want to buy one and my price range I'm looking for is $350-$400, maybe a little more. I want to deep star gaze and see planets pretty well so I think a reflector is the type of telescope I'm supposed to get, not quite sure though. I'm just wondering if anyone has a telescope or knows a good place to buy them online at. Thanks for the help.

They said Jeter has below average power for a shortstop, I looked it up and the past couple of years that's true but I didn't realize he is approaching 2300 hits already and he just turned 33. He'll probably make it to 3000.
