QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 05:14 PM) A top 3 pick and two picks in the 33-40 range makes me one happy Buc fan!! You can thank our GM for overpaying for a guy they don't play as well. -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 04:45 PM) So who's fault was it then? The line? Lovie's? Turner's? Josh Mcdaniels? Maybe it was my fault? Seriously. You think the last one was on Cutler. Maybe he can see into the future where his receiver gets a ball thrown right at him, gets raped by the guy behind him, and then pops the ball straight up. I forget. Cutler has the automatic return mechanism on his throws. The first one was Cutler. He underthrew it. The last one. Come on. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 04:44 PM) Think on the bright side....the more we keep losing, the higher our 3rd round pick will be!! Doesn't matter. Our f***nut GM will pick a guy who's 40 time is awesome so he can transform him into something as opposed to something we actually need. -

Okay, that last f***ing pick was not on Cutler. Anyone that says it was is football retarded. -
Hard not to like this. Low risk, high reward. Good right handed pop off of the bench. And while he is not the same guy as he was before, he can still probably provide decent LF and RF defense at times. As long as he is not over exposed he will be an asset.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Nov 25, 2009 -> 10:55 AM) Do you think though that at least Dye wil be offered arb? Am I wrong to think that if he isn't we don't get compensdation from whoever signs him? No because if we offer Dye arbitration he will accept and that is not a prudent allocation of funds for this year. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 11:36 PM) That's a dead link,I get nothing. Dan Jiggets actually said that he wouldnt make the Orton/Cutler trade if given the choice today, they are killing Cutler on Bears Post Game Live. I still believe in Cutler, though he is fustrating the hell outta me. Jiggets spends too much time with the hotdog vendor in the morning. That rots your brain. Jim Miller must of been given money by Ron Turner. Ron Turner is never the issue. Its always something else. -

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 11:06 PM) I don't have anything to say about Kyle Orton. But we have really mindf***ed Jay Cutler in just 11 games. The dude is hardly even recognizable. The answer is simple. Jay Cutler in Denver. Pro Bowl QB Kyle Orton here, not so good. Jay Cutler here, who the hell is this. Kyle Orton in Denver. Looks like a QB. People get better when they leave here. Rarely people get better when they come here. -

QUOTE (qwerty @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 01:23 AM) I can be as blunt and vulgar as they come, but there is a time and a place for that. The best discussion here, all around for that matter, is in the chat room. It's too bad the chat crew members are looked down upon, because honestly, people are missing out. It can simply be a blast at times. Sometimes though in chat. You might need to cover your eyes....

QUOTE (danman31 @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 12:59 AM) Henry admitted in a quote that he handled the ball. I can't get mad at him. It's the ref's job (or sideline official) to make the call. Henry just kept playing. Don't hate him, hate the blown call. Wait a second. So if a person cheats in a sporting event and the refs don't catch it everything is absolved. I can get mad at Henry. Its not like his arm just accidentally came in contact with the ball. He purposely changed the course of the ball, set it on a tee so he could drive it in from less than a meter out. The blind ref just adds to it. The cheater is still culpable even though the blind ref didn't see it. World class football players don't just happen to palm the ball right in front of the goal mouth. -
QUOTE (Ranger @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 12:31 AM) Some of you know that I sometimes get the "company man" tag thrown at me on occasion (often on message boards), but it really isn't true. I would have to say. This is probably the first year that I have enjoyed your post game show. Probably the first year we have seen more of your personality than just the cut and dry guy. I was a big fan of Wills. He seemed like one of us, one of the fans. Just like you deal with, he had his group of crazy conspiracy theorist that would call the show. Hell that was before 2005. You can imagine those calls. Your first year you seemed like a carbon copy of the guy you replaced that did the post game when the show was on AM1000. Similar voice, similar tone, etc. Over the years you have gotten better at your craft and have loosened up a bit. This year you seemed to have a lot more leeway with being able to take a stand and stick up for points you believe in. Thats when you became a radio show that I could listen to. The more you keep it real, the more the company man thing will go away on its own.

Of all the mother f***ing teams to keep the irish out. The f***ing french. Are you kidding me. I would rather lose to Andorra than the f***ing french. I forgot that in OT the rules automatically change to Gaelic Football where you can use your hands. Henry can go to hell. Cheating bastard.... -
QUOTE (KipWellsFan @ Nov 18, 2009 -> 06:49 PM) Still the politician who knows more about the science of climate change than any other poltician. Who would of thunk that the inventor of the internet would be so well rounded.... Hail Goracle!!!

I wouldn't even bother to respond directly to Cowley. All it does is lend credence to his opinions. It would be better to respond by touting your own website and the long history that you have had with the original soxnet, soxtalk and of course the gold standard for whitesox prospect information futuresox.com. His attack is that this is some sort of blog that was just created. You attack that with facts. And the facts are that this is a new blog that is based on a long respected history of sox information that you have provided through several web platforms. And for all those who feel the need to avenge this by sending a profanity based diatribe. Think before you send. Its one thing to send a response in email. Its another to send emails that say "Dear f***face". Jason will handle this himself. I don't think email bombing Cowley is going to help things out.

Well Mike North has a new theory this morning. Jay Cutler sucks and is Rex Grossman and Ron Turner is great. Its not Ron Turners fault that the bears O sucks its entirely on Jay Cutler. -
I watch Fox news, and absolutely can't stand Glenn Beck.

QUOTE (Heartattack19 @ Nov 14, 2009 -> 10:24 AM) I would recoomend Tehas de Brazil in Woodfield. I think it was reasonably priced for a place that is like Fogo de Chao....but then again, i drank a little too much wine that may have clouded my judgement! All I remember from this awesome place is meat wrapped in meat. ( steak wrapped in bacon ). Lots of good food and good drink.

QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 10:55 PM) I agree. It would be great if we could all agree on that. But I don't think we do. I think actually most do. I think people jumping to his side is seeing how poor of a crappy team we have around him. Its sad to waste this talent on this crap. And is also a reaction to being hit with morons calling the radio station since the beginning of the season lamenting the all powerful Kyle "Where is my Beer" Orton. Like we would be superbowl bound if that guy was still around. Cutler is probably putting the entire thing on his back and trying to make it happen. He sees the crap we have on this team. A little more time with the line, and maybe a receiver or two that knows how to complete a route and I think things look better. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 10:43 PM) It actually angers me watching how sloppy the Bears receivers are at running routes. It is one thing not to be the most talented guy in the world but at least be clean coming out of your breaks and help your QB out once in a while. Cutler played a bad game tonight but 2 of those interceptions had nothing at all to do with him and I'm not sure a WR has made a play to help him out this entire season. Plus Chris Williams is just embarrassing to watch play right tackle and the rest of the O-Line is horrible as well. Basically for 4 quarter Cutler is running for his life. He doesn't get to sit back like other QBs and make decisions and pick up secondaries and check downs. The ball is snapped usually badly, the pocket immediately collapses around him because the DEs have a direct line to him. If he is lucky enough to step through it then he picks up his receivers and hopes to god that they remember what he called. You know that playbook is pretty long. Then he throws it and prays to god that the receiver looks back, attempts to catch it and doesn't get scared of the hit or makes up his own route ala Madden 10. I am surpised that he is alive at this point. -

QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 10:32 PM) But he's not quarterbacking Denver, is he? Deal with what you have in front of you. No question, this team sucks, and Cutler's about 46th on the list of what's wrong. But c'mon; let's not pretend he hasn't made some bad judgments, no matter what the reason. Cutler f***ed up. He threw 2 picks that were on him. Sorry if I don't blame Cutler for Hester falling down. Or Davis getting bumped out of the play. Or Hester stopping on the check down. Cutler did f*** up. But his band of morons around him have something to do with the level of play. Its not like he forgot how to play QB when he came here. He is a pro-bowl QB who happens to be on a high school talented squad.
