Offseason Part 2 - Lets the Rumors & Action Begin
southsideirish71 replied to Chisoxfn's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Now for my next act. If you think I am cheap now. Wait till we need to start extending members of this core. Hometown under-market discounts, sure. Valid long-term deals and god forbid if their position is a pitcher. Good luck. Tony better win this year or the next. -

My guess is that they will push the Oscar Colas as our RF of the future story and we will go short term with a guy trying to reestablish himself or go with a third rate RF candidate who will fit their "budget". -
Most of the Russian media is not covering this as a full invasion. They are covering this as Russian forces helping to liberate the Eastern part of Ukraine and their russian speakers from neo nazi's.

Fathoming Bauer not securing a job anywhere?

So with the new values does that mean that you wont be watching the sox, spending money on them or rooting for them until they part ways with Boston. -

But not out with the current first base coach roaming around the field getting paid. -
How many of the candidates are outside of the "Polian" contact list. We did this same song and dance with Ernie Acorsi before. If you are a friend of Polian, you are a finalist. Not having a GM has put us in a hole which could provide a scenario where all of the Tier 1 candidates are selected by other teams while we pick up Leslie Frazier because Georgie remembers him from when he was younger. I am glad they are doing due diligence but at some point, I believe Polian was hired quite a bit back and should have been narrowing down the candidates well before this process started. Its almost like they didn't know they were going to fire Pace until Sunday night. This smells too much like JR picking a manager based on righting an earlier wrong. Oh I remember you, you were on one of my staffs or know someone I knew.

It would be so Bears to hire a near 70-year-old HC to develop a young team.

so much for the hometown discount.

Only a Chicago team takes the company accountant and decides to put him in the room to hire a football guy. This is like the janitor at a hospital sitting in the room during evaluations of the head neurosurgeon.

Agreed. His velocity seems to be completely derived from arm clocking more than getting into his legs or letting drift help to disconnect the lower and upper half.

No offense, John Schoop was more imaginative than Nagy is. Hey look they are lining up in the wildcat for the 90th time this season. The defensive sure looks confused there. I wonder what wacky draw play is going to be called here. Hey look, let's shift 20 times and get called for illegal motion over and over. Hey, I know it's not working, but it's shifty.
-
Okay, that pretty much one-ups any stadium here. Good lord.
-
Agreed. I was upset that they tore that universe down just as they were setting up the sinister six. Plus any universe that had Emma Stone in it, works for me.
-
So Dalton in the lineup. We get screens, we play to his strengths. With Fields in, we go empty. Its almost like Nagy is just flipping the bird to the owners. Oh you wanted Fields. Well here you go.
-
That plus a garbage defense
-
Empty backfield, then a wildcat. When they fire Nagy these plays should be on his career tombstone.

https://www.africanbites.com/coquito/ Coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and rum The sweetness comes from the Coconut Milk instead of adding sugar to it. Also they typically don't use raw eggs.

I like coquito over the American version personally. I had a friend of mine turn me on to it a few years ago. Juicy Lucy in Oak Lawn used to make a batch of it for order every year. Its amazing.

Good luck with that.

The guardians of JR's fortune will let us know that we have enough. We are already winners no matter if we add anyone. And that just getting into the dance is good enough because it's just such a crapshoot. The only one who looks out more than JR's accountant seems to be one of the sects of White Sox fandom.

Well we could of hired their manager. But someone needed to right a wrong from the 80s and that trumped winning.
