Cabrera is 24 years old, plays in the grand canyon compared to this park. Do you have any idea of how playing in the bandbox on the southside would affect his numbers. The we did nothing with Carlos is malarkey. Take the 2005 pitching, and stick it on one of the Carlos Lee teams and see how far it goes. We win a lot more division titles and have a chance to go deep in the playoffs. The only thing that moving Carlos Lee did, was to give us financial flexibility when our payroll was in the 70 million to 80 million dollar range. It allowed us to pick up quantity. Thome's money, hell Konerko's money would be near to coming off the books near the end of his contract. He would be 26 years old, just entering in the prime years for a power hitter.
