I didn't want to see Vargas moved off 3rd because he started hitting playing there. Superstition more than anything but not broken don't fix it. Sox like more LH bats so Rojas got the nod at 3rd instead of 1st and replaced 2 RH bats at 1st with 2 different RH bats that a few of us speculated ,before the season, would probably get some play there .

I put you in charge of a good month of May. So far 9-12 . 7 more games in May with 2 more against Tx. in Chicago then on the road to finish the month with 3 in NY vs the Mets and 2 in Baltimore against the O's . If we win the series against the Rangers, get 1 of the 3 vs the Mets and split with the Os to finish the month 3 out of 7 ,the final May record will be 12 -16 . Not too bad considering the Sox got crushed in KC and Wrigley. Keep up the good work ! Of course they could lose 7 in a row but let's not think about that. 😋

Fuller said the same thing about Robert that I just said in the Robert trade value thread a day or 2 ago after looking at the new statcast data. His timing is off. The question is can he get his timing back while still taking a lot of walks ? I'm thinking that will be difficult in the near term.
