Im glad you posted his numbers for the last 5 games. He had couple stinkers but since he switch to a differen part of the rubber he's been nails. He was being bad mouthed a few days ago and put into the same boat with Fedde by our less knowledgeable loudmouth who only posts when he can say something bad. Was glad to see tjat pitching yesterday didnt keep Taylor and Dominquez from pitching today. I think thats why he took Taylor out sooner than expected yesterday.

I mean the whole narratve that got so bad people were blaming the TJ surgeries on Bannister. People just making up stupid reasons to blame anyone for misfortune. He was joking since the training staff started getting blamed for a lot things by a lot of people who are ignorant and ran with the narrative of incompetence .

A lot of that is injuries .No Teel,Baldwin, Hays and Pereira. Nishida might not be up very long unless he does well and being at home is the perfect opportunity to see if his energy provides some spark. Just going to have to be patient to see Braden and Teel. Hays should be back soon but he's a walking soft tissue leg injury waiting to happen again Sox belief in Meidroth needs to be pushed by Gonzalez.

I keep looking at Hays and thinking he might get traded sooner than later. Problem is he has to show he's healthy and find someone willing to pay his salary. Him and Pereira are both frustrating to keep waiting on with their health problems. At this point Hays as far as health + performance should be last among the RH OFers. But you add salary in there as a reason they keep him, then he's first.

I actually did not. I just told @joejoesox that I liked his idea to call up Nishida because it was out of the box thinking that I hadn't thought about much. Great timing by him to mention it. I thought there could be a pitching move or 2 before Monday's game.

Well yea the term has evolved to mean a lot more than just a person ( man or woman) who has problems attracting a partner and leading to involuntary celibacy. Being involuntarily celibate can have nothing to do with being a jerk towards women but the term now does imply some sort of hate or misogyny towards women. So I interpreted what you meant correctly. It was a general thing had more to do with normal involuntary celibacy that could apply to anyone but not the real meaning of the word incel which means misogyny is involved and applying it to a particlar person.

What insult did you see there ? Seems like a harmless genneral observation that would apply to any person. Highly doubt he's implying your partner doesnt want you. He would have to know you actually have a partner to do that.

I know wouldve had to cover 5 inninngs so Leasure was probably the freshest ,otherwise it's Eisert or Davis. Or take Fedde out as soon as he had to face a LHH in the fifth if he gets the 1st hitter out . Maybe see how long Newcomb could go at that point. Maybe Eisert. Some games I know its a tough choice and I was fine with Venable punting this game down 3-0 but once they tied it my thoughts are ,to win the series, you take the most immediate chance. Or you just stick to punting and leaving Fedde in to die. Venable chose leavng him in to die. I'm not saying the Sox wouldve won this game .Schultz could pitch great tomorrow and the right relief guys wrap up the game and Sox win the series or it goes sideways like today and you have to use your best guys in a loss and they aren't available for the opening game of the next series.TBH I havent checked when Newcomb pitched last so having him go multiple innings may not have worked. Monday is a day game against the Twins. I have a feeling that today or tomorrow the Sox call up a pitcher .

I thought I was prioritizing that stretch using Taylor, Dominquez , Newcomb & Leasure starting a clean inning in this game so they get a day of rest tomorrow and can pitch the 1st game or 2 of the next 3 or 4 after this series. You have them going tomorrow in the rubber game and unavailable for the 1st game of the next series.

Well once it was tied you could' ve gone to your better pitchers to try to win this game or save them until tomorrow and your best guys arent available for the 1st game of the division series. My personable feeling is go for it this game and have your best guys rested a day for the next series.
