Good Kay showed up at home pretty much like he always does. He's not as good on the road .

The difference between being at home and on the road is that they have 2 runs already off a pitcher with filthy stuff. He does throw a few right down the middle and are actually getting a couple hits with RISP.

He was blocking to start with but pulled his right foot out of the way just as he caught the ball. That call should've been upheld as it was. I dont mind the send. That was just a heck of a catch by Hedges. I don't think most catcher make that play.

Antonacci got a pitch outside called a strike and he challenged it and won. Manzardo got one called outside a strike that looked like it missed just as much as the one to Antonacci and didnt challenge it. No big secret some umps are just worse calling certain locations. It's never just about framing.

Between Colson and Grichuk only one pitch thrown in the strike zone. Colson had the 1st strike called but it was low. No patience on the road.

Getz might be scouring for more than 1 relief arm. He should still give Peoples a shot just to see if he can fill a void .
