Not sure they knew but you'd think they either don't put much stock in it or ignore it. Supposedly the tweet with this info went viral but I think I've been the only one who mentioned it and I don't pay attention to X. I first saw it in MLB trade rumors in the comments section . Then I guess later it popped up in a tweet. I mentioned it a couple of days ago. The numbers are different though like yeah they said the same general result but I think the one in MLBTR had Romo 10 games above .500 not 20 so I don't know what the true results are.

Maybe but plenty of guys steal bases against guys hard to steal on. You can try a delayed steal or hit and run. You might get lucky with a hard to handle pitch or bobbled/cant dig it out of his glove by the catcher. And with his speed any delay you won't get thrown out.

I have noticed an awful lot of throwing balls to 1st on DP's and dribblers that guys used to just hold onto.

I thought Acuna should have been stealing when Rogers was batting . Every pitch he didnt run I'm thinking Rogers better not hit into a DP . Then he did.

This is why despite all the hate for Romo they win when he catches. I know a lot of other things factor into wins but when its that lopsided I prefer the catcher the pitchers like to throw to.

OK So added Urquiddy , Rogers, Brazoban, Castillo, Doyle, Hagen Smith , Joey Bart all to the 40 . Bart, Keel,Chris Murphy and Davis Martin are all IL so still on 40 but not 26. DFA Wikleman Gonzalez and Joe Rock off the 40 . DFA Hays & Pereira off the 40. Davitt DFA to make room for Doyle but then traded for Bart. Lengthier sponsorship deals with Japanese companies would skyrocket if the Sox had Mune for another 8 years instead of just 2. You want a piece then commit to sponsoring for 8 more years because the line will be long. It's the only thing that gives me hope that he can be re-signed. I like how the BP was rearranged. They got rid of the guy who early in the season was most likely to get a save but regressed to the guy most likely to blow a save. They also have a few guys who can go multiple innings but then they can't recover as quickly. Most people don't know it but combined the BP has 32 saves. Hagen Smith and Hicks are volatile so Venable hasn't put them in save situations but they are getting more and more chances to open innings late in the game. Unfortunately we're down to 3 starting pitchers and unless you're willing to call up Shane Smith or Cannon to maximize innings pitched beyond 4 that BP is going to be maxed out into ineffectiveness. Somehow though they always seem to find a way ,
