GT 7/5: MIN @ SOX, The day after
The over 50 crowd has seen so much bad Sox baseball we're kind of used to it.

That was a case of it's not who you play it's when you play them. Giants were reeling at the time.

I'm surprised no one here has tried to organize a game where Soxtalk members show up and chant all game "Fire Tony" and boo the Sox all game long. Heck you can make it a thing on twitter and call it Boo the Sox Day.

7/4 Games
Eloy 2 for 4 today, 2 singles and a GIDP. Looks like he played the full game in LF. Do not know if they were GB singles or hit over the infield.

"i will say its the first really bad umpiring ive seen in a while however." When you said that I didn't think you were agreeing with me. There was some pretty lousy HP umpiring maybe 2 weeks ago. The Sox were the likely beneficiary in that one. Yeah just looked it up June 22nd White Sox beat Blue Jays 7-6 in 12 inning. This from Twitter : Umpire Scorecards @UmpScorecards · Jun 22 Doug Eddings Total Run Impact of 5.89 runs in yesterday’s game between the White Sox and Blue Jays ranks 5th highest all time and highest so far this season. You check out more of his and others’ games at our website! Basically Edding's was calling everything a strike that were balls against both teams only more bad calls were against Toronto. Eddings strike accuracy for that game was 64% !!! when the average is 88%. 25 of the 70 pitches called strikes were actually balls !

But he wasn't calling pitches out of the zone balls for both teams .Cueto was getting strikes called balls and The Sox hitters were getting balls called strikes from Bundy. I mean its bad enough when the Sox swing at so many pitches out of the zone and when they actually show some patience and display a discerning eye they still get called strikes.

The only explanation I could think of is that Engel was getting ready to tag up and he saw Moncada come racing towards him and looked likely to pass him on the bases so Engel thinks hey maybe Yoan says the ball is going to drop, he's got a better look at it than I do and he starts running before the catch. I mean Yoan is practically 1/2 way to 3rd when the ball gets back to the infield.
