And Taylor pitches right where I said he would in his 1st outing, right after the starting pitchers departs the game. 1 2 3 baby. Do they let him go 1 more ? I say yay ! -
I was complimenting him. Anyone can be a curmudgeon with this team and ownership and we all have been . I hope for all the young Sox fans out there that if the Ishbias ownership comes to pass it ushers in a new era of White Sox baseball that has never been witnessed before like actually making the playoffs often without the need to rebuild .

Same place it is every year you don't win the World Series,Superbowl, Stanley Cup etc. It ends in a loss that makes you sad or pisses you off. Microcosm of life man. Kicks you the conjones a lot but enjoyable moments along the way . Some think it sucks , some think it's precious. Some filled with despair and anxiety , some hopeful and thankful.

I thought the step forward was being close to .500 at home but yea better than the current .188 on the road would be good like .350 😂. Still need the best odds in the draft lottery. -
A little ingenuity with a smart TV and a free browser app and anyone one can watch any sports team they want to for free as long they can handle lost signals every so often during a game and being a minute or so behind what everyone else is watching . Actually don't even need a TV , you could watch on a computer monitor. That's how I started. Then had the epiphany, hey my smart TV has browser apps available that I previously had no use for, let's see if I can find a browser and watch on my big screen TV in HD or higher the same thing I was watching on Firefox on my much smaller computer monitor in SD. Had some ups and downs but I got it down to a science now. No paying for cable or a streaming service.

I didn't say the rebuild will succeed. I just said I'm enjoying watching them get better because it's exciting new blood and not tired old blood. I said nothing at all definitive about the current team except I'm enjoying the difference between last year and this year . I don't have to involve myself about where they end up playing. Not my problem. I may not live long enough to see them win another World Series so I'll just enjoy the sport and the new blood .

Grant Taylor set to join White Sox in HOU

Link ? Extension stats -
I was guessing that if true it had to do with being on the 40. Just never equated being on the 40 with options. Always thought it had to do with being called up . So once on the 40 or someone else's 40 you start burning 1option per year until they are gone.
-
Are you sure ? I don't know so I'm only asking. How can an option be used if he's never been called up ? Once you are called up wouldn't that be using his 1st option and then you can send him up and down that same year if you want. I think with the guys they consider key pieces like Montgomery they want him to bust down the door like Teel did with a run of superior hitting so he's less likely to be yo-yo'd. Getz hasn't lived up to the Sox fans saying since spring training that Getz was itching for Montgomery to be the opening day starter or just promote him ready or not here he comes like a game of hide and seek. I think he knows that Colson has to stick to those old sports cliches about letting the game come to him and staying within himself to be a future contributor. Maybe breathing through his eyelids too. Name that pop culture reference !

Sox have had the fewest opportunities for saves in baseball. I think it'll be pretty cool just to see him contribute like it is with all the top guys they bring up. -

Plenty of time for Palette in the 2nd half. There's no hurry with trying to get as good as possible this year , not with the 2026 top pick in the draft within your reach. -

Or it could be they are just being fair to Grant Taylor. They have stated that in order to assess if a prospect is ready they want them not only to be just good, they want them be extremely good. I forget the exact wording. Something about breaking down the door where your performance is so good it makes all the sense in the world to be called up. You want to reward high performance within the organization. You don't deny them the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives just because starting his clock now isn't conducive to the MLB team needing a closer. I'm thinking they don't put him into a closer role right away. He'll probably get his feet wet throwing an inning or 2 as the 1st man out of the pen after the starter departs. Bannister said they aren't ruling him out as a starter so it's very likely that trying to establish him as an elite closer in month and half then trading him would be pretty ridiculous. -
