Oh he's definitely the pitcher that a lot of people were mentioning who had a good shot at coming up. Getz hyped him up pretty good after the trade and expected him to be a contributing piece to this years team but thats mostly just GM talk , but he was the centerpiece of that trade and the money to pay for Hcks and acquire Sandlin came from the Luis Robert trade as did the money to pay Hays and Dominguez. Unfortunate that a measly $20M from the Robert trade was the only way to get all those players but it just goes to show the restrictions he's been working under. Had to get creative.

Tall order .Dude has barely got his feet wet after being injured but pitched incredibly well. Schultz was also pitching very well for a longer period and he has struggled.

The not stretched out part is why I suggested Shane Muphy as a sysrting pitcher because his last start he threw 5 shut out innings. But Ill admit I never checked how he was pitching before that. What you say makes sense although a 1 or 2 inning role is also possible because every time they try to plug a hole it hasnt been working out. But that might not be ideal in order to keep him prepared for spot starts or piggybacking for longer stints .

I'd be interested in knowing how many rotations have 2 or more qualified starting pitchers with less than a 4 ERA. I know other numbers mean more but ERA is still a decent barometer of good pitching for a starting pitcher who can give you 5+ innings in most starts.

Im glad you posted his numbers for the last 5 games. He had couple stinkers but since he switch to a differen part of the rubber he's been nails. He was being bad mouthed a few days ago and put into the same boat with Fedde by our less knowledgeable loudmouth who only posts when he can say something bad. Was glad to see tjat pitching yesterday didnt keep Taylor and Dominquez from pitching today. I think thats why he took Taylor out sooner than expected yesterday.

Didnt see anything there that could even remotely called proof do you ? Like I said highly speculative. Not one player with a complaint against anyone mentioned so its just innuendo .

I mean the whole narratve that got so bad people were blaming the TJ surgeries on Bannister. People just making up stupid reasons to blame anyone for misfortune. Or the runnimg arguments betwren ptatc and Lip. Everything got blown out of proportion by people without knowlrdge of any particular wrongdoing. As far as actual malpractice and cases that go to court thats a long process and not sure if there have been any verdicts so its still extremely speculative. If there is one long article to point me to as far as a large number of training staff errors feel free to give me as much info as there is that is proof.

He was joking since the training staff started getting blamed for a lot things by a lot of people who are ignorant and ran with the narrative of incompetence .

A lot of that is injuries .No Teel,Baldwin, Hays and Pereira. Nishida might not be up very long unless he does well and being at home is the perfect opportunity to see if his energy provides some spark. Just going to have to be patient to see Braden and Teel. Hays should be back soon but he's a walking soft tissue leg injury waiting to happen again Sox belief in Meidroth needs to be pushed by Gonzalez.

I keep looking at Hays and thinking he might get traded sooner than later. Problem is he has to show he's healthy and find someone willing to pay his salary. Him and Pereira are both frustrating to keep waiting on with their health problems. At this point Hays as far as health + performance should be last among the RH OFers. But you add salary in there as a reason they keep him, then he's first.

I actually did not. I just told @joejoesox that I liked his idea to call up Nishida because it was out of the box thinking that I hadn't thought about much. Great timing by him to mention it. I thought there could be a pitching move or 2 before Monday's game.
