Even if 1/3 crash hard it's still a core. This is like in OOTP when you get insanely lucky on the fantasy draft to start a league. I gotta give Getz his credit here. He's got a good development staff in place for the first time since the 90s here in Chicago and he's ID'ing the players that will thrive in it.

It all matters how a team is playing when you face them. Sox just need to play with the same intensity when they face the 2nd place Guardians. 😎

1 hour ago1 hr How about those Chicago White Sox and their all star pitcher Davis Martin?Toughest stretch of the season, no Murakami, and they are off to a 3-2 start.7 straight home wins, for the first time since August 2022. You can just tell they fear no one at home and it's beautiful.7th best record since April 1 (35-27). T-5th most wins since May 1. 14-6 in one run games. They have played less than perfect while being less than healthy in this series and still come away with the win.

But there isn't a single guy they've call upon other than maybe Nishida and Quero where I thought that's just not a MLB player. Gonzo and Montgomery look like players, in their own way. Even Nishida for what he is isn't horrible, we just have a good depth now to where a .5 WAR potential 29th man is a complaint.
