Left bottom of the 7th so regrettably didn’t get to see the walkoff.I did still get a small win, though. Got back to the hotel and got on the elevator with a family of Cub fans. I accidentally dropped my key card when trying to unlock the elevator for my floor. With elite wit and a perfect delivery, I let them know “I fumbled that like the I’m the Cubs”. Ok, the wit wasnt great and the delivery was probably a bit rushed, but the point was made.After admitting I’m a Sox fan, the mom let me know how frustrated she was the Sox have a better record “even without that Japanese guy”.We’re living in good times, boyz.
