They trade the projects and keep the sure things for themselves. I have no idea how good the Tigers are at scouting and getting "buy low" guys they know they can develop.

Gotta keep fighting and stay afloat.

If he can hit .250+ with a little power, we should be able to at least play .500 baseball over the next 2-3 weeks—assuming everyone else keeps trending. No reason to have a 2nd backup CF / 5OF type we just need a bat and Hays is proven league average or so when healthy.

Culture matters and I think Rikuu, right now, fits that better than LA, all other stats being realistically equal.
