I don't remember a trade rumor regarding Sox and Marlins for Gallen . You might be right. I do remember the discussions I took part in when a December 2019 rumor popped up involving Sox,Dbacks, Madrigal and Gallen. We had just lost the Wheeler bidding.You made a thread on who should be the next FA starting pitcher to target. Rumors started that Keuchel and the Sox were close .Then the Sox traded for Mazara. I thought the Sox might use Marzara in a trade after Hahn made some comment about it. The thread devolved into talking about trading for Snell more than it discussed who to sign next. Then end of December we signed Keuchel.But I had fun talking about Gallen for Madrigal even though it was just a random tweet rumor with no reason to think it was real.

This is a serious question since I never use radio or internet radio but couldn't you hear the game on the website of ESPN 1000 ? . Maybe MLB doesnt allow it or you listen mostly in your car.

If those guys all start I'd move TA to the middle of the lineup and lead off Mendick. Goins at the bottom. Maybe even bat Mazara 5 and Collins 6 to max out the lefties against Mize. Tigers also put a few LH relievers in the game yesterday so when Mize comes out we may see a few RH relievers. This is just fun speculation if all those scrubs end up in the lineup .

That would be ugly . Moncada has to play and hoping for Grandal too somewhere in the lineup.

I read and participate to learn new things . l learned things abount the trade I didnt know before and because of that I feel better discussing it. Thought provoking discussion is good. If people dont want to discuss the trade stay out of the thread . The fire dies faster when you dont keep adding fuel to it. People whining about why are we discussing this again are just adding fuel.

Its a war out there and you are at the highest level of competition. You dont get to that level without being very competitive. Losing upsets us all. Look how we act in game threads and we are eating chips and getting fat on our couches. Imagine you're out there in the war zone and some pitcher buzzes your head . The mound is the pedestal. You are the king of the hill up there. Every hit makes you look incompetent .Every K a God. It's your livelihood and the SOB at the plate is trying to not only hurt you but hurt your family. And fun is often perceived as rubbing it in to the losers. There will always be people upset when they lose and happy when they win Its competitive juices. It's a way to get in the other teams head. It's not racism, it's more of a culture clash, The way it used to be vs. The way it's going to be. Out with the old in with the new. In multicultural sports it's always going to be that way. Even within cultures there are issues. Japanese baseballs unwritten rules were extremely conservative ,team oriented , crushed individuality. Get over it and get used to it. It's just what happens when everything is ultra competitive. The losers always want the winners to be humble otherwise its seen as humiliating and emasculating.
