  1. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 29, 2011 -> 02:02 PM) Thanks for posting Same here..thanks.
  2. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jun 29, 2011 -> 12:45 AM) I'm not sure Lilli was loafing. Yea he didn't bust his ass to field that blooper but it's entirely possible he just showed his lack of experience. I doubt he was expecting Tulo to go from 1st to home on it. He probably just figured he's stop at 3rd. Looked like he was playing at no doubles depth so was pretty deep to start with. Sorry...but that's a weak excuse. You bust your ass every play at this level....
  3. This game is exactly why I'm not...nor have been even remotely excited about his team this year (besides after the very first two games of the year). Simply awful...
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 28, 2011 -> 10:13 PM) If he is benched for lack of effort, kudos to Ozzie. I just think its most likely something else. Rios didn't look very interested tonight, but you could say that about several White Sox several times over the years with zero consequences. ^^^ this
  5. QUOTE (oldsox @ Jun 27, 2011 -> 09:17 PM) I'm glad Kenny is not running our government or Defense Dept. would it really make any difference?!? Not like our government is run well either....
  6. What's ironic I find is there's the entire thread about "return on investment" in terms of Pierre. Dayan doesn't make chicken feed.... Good lord this is maddening!!!!!
  7. Good lord...so much angst and drama. This is why I don't engage very often...nothing changes. Like Rock said...if you don't care for it...don't engage in it or ignore. Personally I enjoy J4Ls posts... It bores me to tears to see people comparing UZR, WHIPS, etc...zzzzzzzzzzz. J4 ads a little spice sometimes...no biggie. People take things so personally anymore.
  8. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 22, 2011 -> 09:12 PM) maybe it's just me, but i think sergio has his slider back Sergio feelin' it all the way around. That was a nasty 2-strike change he threw to pena too...
  9. Konerko and Humber have stood out this year...simply amazing. Nice series win.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 19, 2011 -> 04:10 PM) Did you notice that both his HR and that rope were on pitches waist high or higher? He's able to nail those because of the change to his hand position. Now he's able to actually get on top of that pitch rather than popping it up. I take it we thank Greg Walker for finally getting him to listen? We really do need Alex to start rakin....
  11. How great has Humber been this year?!? What an incredibly nice surprise.
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 02:16 AM) KW has simply been a joke since the winter of '07. He's set this franchise back a good five years, IMO. You just knew his recklessness would come back to bite us in the ass at some point. The farm is not just supposed to be develop, build up their value, trade for old or expensive veteran whenever the chance arises. This team has been stagnant for the past 4 years...it's really time to make some sort of change. KWs attempts have failed on all levels. Ozzie is more of a roadshow anymore. There HAS to be a change soon...some sort of shakeup. But no...it's always status quo. I'm beginning to throw Jerry in the mix of people I'm really starting to get sick of...DO SOMETHING you old f***!
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 11:47 PM) Two comments. The first is simple. The Sox are not a good team. This is not even a .500 team. .500 is its upside. 2.). You just could tell by his demeanor that Hudson knew he had the stuff to do what he did tonight to his old team. He did violate KW and the White Sox. It was sooo easy for Hudson. Even at the plate, Hudson was a threat, much more a threat than that piece of s*** Rios at the plate. I was just waiting for Hudson to thrust his head back and give a good belly laugh after mowing down the Sox. The Sox were totally overmatched vs. Hudson. Good trade, KW. I can't even begin to describe the hate I have for Rios right now. Between him and Pierre...and throw Beckham in there as well...good god. As for the Hudson topic...not to throw salt on the wound...but David Holmberg (throw in with Hudson trade) has been lights out lately for them in South Bend. Something like 27 straight scoreless innings. Their scouts are raving about him right now.
  14. I won't have any faith until the friggin do something with Pierre...ANYTHING except play him EVERY goddamn day!!!! Really?!? And please...for the love of christ glue Rios' ass to the bench for about a week straight!
  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 10, 2011 -> 07:30 AM) Graham Godfrey will make his major league debut against us tonight. So let's welcome him to the big leagues with home runs. I really hate facing guys like this...debut pitchers ALWAYS handcuff the Sox for some reason.
  16. Honestly...how in the f*** does that happen?!?
  17. Phil Humber is the s*** right now...
  18. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 7, 2011 -> 10:22 AM) Cubs just took an offensive guard with their second-round pick: Looks like John Kruk's Mini-me.
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 6, 2011 -> 08:49 PM) I get hard just thinking about Robin teaching Morel the finer points of 3B. TMI dude... Bettin' Robin is hitting coach in the next year...2 at the most.
  20. The C.J. Cron kid has a "little" brother out here (he's 6-5", 240ish) who hit 27 dingers this year and batted some ridiculous average around 560. 60 dingers for his career.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 4, 2011 -> 10:30 PM) Rios, Jackson and Teahen for Hudson. Give some money as well. Good luck peddling that POS Rios. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN...EVER. Honestly....SOME money?!? Not saying this directly at you post (which should have been in green btw...)...but besides Jackson...anybody else on this team not named Lexi, Danks, Q (or Sergio) has ZERO trade value. I know...Sale, Crain too. Point being who the F in their right mind would take Rios?!?!?!?
  22. Lil dude still puts a hurt on it...I really want him as our starting CF.
