I just want to know why the hell people say "prolly" . That is the one grammatically incorrect thing that really pisses me off. The word is "probably"!!!

Me, I'm all for that. If a catcher is making his signs so obvious, then he deserves. And as a hitter, it is great to know what is coming. Though some guys don't want to know, I've never understood that.

My tryouts have been going on for the last week, and i think they're making cuts tomorrow or Tuesday We have a new hitting style, something that hitting guru Mike Epstein (played for the Senators when Ted Williams managed) came up with, it's called torque hitting, which most major leaguers use, and its much different and allows for more power than linear hitting. I've always kind of hit with an uppercut swing, and well, I might add. I thought that "chopping wood" was the f***ing stupidest idea to take to the plate. Now after Epstein gave his seminar, the coaches relize that, too.

Personally, I love this trade. I'm so happy to see Wallace go. So are tons of fans in this area. Many fans called into to the Portland sports radio station saying that this is the best day in blazers history since winning the NBA title in 1977, and they also said that they will go out today and buy Blazers tix, something that some of them haven't done in years. But the reason the Hawks did this is that Shareef and Ratliff (who leads the NBA in blocked shots) are due $25 million next year, than their contracts are up. The Blazers weren't originally going to take on salary, but they decided that they would stay reasonably competitive next year. If they simply let Sheed walk, they would be a f***ing lottery team next year. After next year, however, Dale Davis, Shareef, Ratliff, and Damon Stoudamire's contracts all expire. That's $50 million dollars freed up in what will be a huge free agent class!
