Just saw the trade, I personally like it. Im not too high on minor leaguers in general though, I dont care how good they are in A, AA or AAA, if you cant hit/play in MLB its best to get rid of them while they have some hype. Hopefully Carlos is healthy, hes definitely talented and gets on base and hitting in the cell might even boost his stats, sure will be nice for him to get out a divison with some of the best pitchers in the league in Webb, Peavy and etc... So do you guys think we might platoon him with a player we might sign/acquire later or with someone in the organization? Just curious because he struggles against lefties at the plate though maybe his injuries slowed him down. I really think that with this trade one of Crede or Fields has to go though.

Missouri got jewed, Kansas should definitely not be in. I dont care what any of you think but USC is gonna destroy Illini. They basically got home field, also hottest team in country right now and JDB should be fully healthy even though yes he did play vs UCLA.

TBS has done a great job in the playoffs the cameras have been the worst. Almost every ball I saw hit into the outfield onto a fly they made it look like it was gone which was kinda annoying but no big deal. Other than that they chose some excellent broadcasters who Ive enjoyed listening to, though I think its unfair that they dont put any games on Fox kinda screws those who dont have cable.

I really dont understand the Pirates, the talent is there, they are starting to build a nice staff in Snell, Gorzellany and Duke. Not to mention they have some nice hitters in Bay, Sanchez, Paulino and Mclouth. Just a couple bats and improve on that bullpen a bit and they could very well contend in that weak division, really wasnt necessary to fire their manager.
