Brewers defined selling high there. Hard not to feel good about white Sox performance when viewing the other activity this summer.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 03:01 PM) He was horrid until this season but of course everybody credits him for this season and praises him for bringing back minimal return. However I am on record as saying the Melkman won me over!! I do applaud him forever for taking that ball off the chin HARD, staying in the box and getting a hit. In a season where his team is this pathetic, it told me a lot that rich Melky was willing to stay in the game after getting his jaw rattled like that. MELKY is da man. Before this year I despised him however. He hit .296 last year and had an .800 OPS. Maybe they praised him because they watch the games.

Leury thank you.

Going to really miss melky

Things you wouldn't have guessed 10 years ago - the twins sending money to the Yankees.

Leury is in the clubhouse.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 09:44 AM) Is it in bad taste to flip a player you recently traded for? Like would Atlanta be hesitant to deal with the Twins again after this? ? Why would they care

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 30, 2017 -> 09:10 AM) Twins got more for Garcia than they gave up Paid the full salary so not that surprising.

Twins acquire Zach littel #22 prospect and another pitcher

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 29, 2017 -> 07:06 PM) Fulmer is a change of scenery candidate for me. I'm surprised to hear you say that.

Not a great night

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 28, 2017 -> 10:15 PM) Did something happen to Tito? By far the most frustrating part of following the affiliates closely is players constantly disappearing with no info. It's like following the Bears.

QUOTE (steveno89 @ Jul 28, 2017 -> 06:22 PM) See mark Appel over Kris Bryant... Eh I don't buy that, they had the opportunity though.

Hmm. But I hate the Royals.

I at least am taking hombrage in that we will be able to buy a melky cabrera at the deadline when we are good for peanuts and we will have bullets to do it without blinking.

So, addiction is really bad. However, these are adults, and I honestly don't care that much. I guess if they are doing it before a game it could be an advantage, but unless they are cheating I don't care that much. If they are having really bad addiction problems it's a different story.

And he will go cash out at CNN and we'll have to act like he has interesting things to tell people.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 28, 2017 -> 04:40 PM) Always risk with #1 overall? Eh, I only buy that with the "regret" factor as a fan. When you had a shot for everyone, it could hang over you. But I would want #1 overall instead of #2 overall.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 28, 2017 -> 03:09 PM) Chris Boden‏Verified account @CSNBoden 2h2 hours ago #Bears Fox clarifies McPhee scope was "cleanup". Doesnt see this as Fuller situation last yt, when missed whole season. Knee scopes in chicago = out for year

TuuuuuuuuuuuRang

I especially love the gloating article in the trib from some douchebag wisconsin person thanking illinois for not installing "real reforms" so that they could get FoxConn. Foxconn is a welfare queen. We need to cut off their welfare and get them a job. I work too hard to have a company like foxconn freeloading.

I don't blame you Dick Allen, but considering the payroll next year I also think it's fair the sox expect it.

I know next year will be tough but I enjoyed how attendance stayed up despite the rebuild. Sox fans did well.

Danny. Mendick. but yeah no I agree.
