He was awesome in July that year at least.

Mario camiletti. Basically Kevin youkilis

Uhhh it has our most promising hitter

I think they should still get credit for major league production. He could have easily flamed out. But yeah I think if I were an Owner that gave a s%*#, I'd look at the Braves and say "you have had similar payroll, you have similar rules/advantages (draft picks, lottery pools), why haven't you had similar results?". Hell they lost their lat am operation for years and still were able to keep a top 15 farm until this year when they emptied out for Sean Murphy. There are real things that make it harder to make the sox competitive. But...it is what it is. Get over it. Similar orgs are kicking your ass. If Hahn had any shame he'd retire. Also he should apologize to me and give me his degrees.

I sorta feel like it’s unfair to not give credit for cease, kopech who were both raw in A. Which I mainly mention because I feel like the problem is just not getting enough talent into the org. I think paddy is a good evaluator but literally doesn’t bring in big enough classes. I think Shirley is interesting but made a big mistake with his 2020 / Draft strategies that went too targeted with bonuses at a time when our minors essentially were barren. You had scouting director and intl director both go after small classes with higher certainty quality guys at the same time. Ok if one does it, but both at same time made this an inch by inch rebuild. You’d assume Hahn would be like creating an overarching vision for these guys to understand how to execute, but it seems like they are managed as “you are talented and safe; just go find some guys you like!!!” This org desperately needs to be treated as a bottom market for it to be competitive, because Hahn is way too lazy to exploit all talent avenues to their fullest.

When I watch other games its like "damn this is so easy to score a run this is stupid" then I watch the white sox try to score runs with a man starting at second and fail and I'm like "wow this must be like psyching out our hitters this is unfair they should start with bases loaded"

It sucks that @GenericUserName has found a fulfilling life because that guy was hyping chapelli all the way back in 2019. Wish we could hear from him on this.

Famed small boy yermin mercedes

Never a bad day to bump this

Happy for my son Sprinkey 1-2 today

White sox giving a pitcher the DSL preference was brilliant. Guy will be 30 with 22 IP
-
Chapellis got some tree trunks on him

Interested in how Veras is lookin in RF. In my brain that guy was like 6'5 hulk but I guess only 6'2 180.

Other teams play players at multiple positions all the time without catastrophic consequences. All Sox players for a decade, signed or promoted, come up and play like idiots with zero awareness. It does not happen in STL for example. just a unique Hahn seasoning that we get to enjoy.

my baby that I watered for 2 years ? Unfortunately they also lost Luis Gonzalez whom Outman was supposed to upgrade on ?

I don't appreciate get written out of Outman board history

I didn't really believe in Colas until last year when he hit like 10 home runs in 6 days so not sure I can claim credit. He is a big boy. Every time I see him I think " ooo, that's a big boy". I was mainly worried he'd be a left handed dayan viciedo, they are like spitting images sometimes, but so far his fielding has been truly what I thought and tbh left handed dayan viciedo probably fine offensively.

Never a doubt with gonzer. This sox team still feels...exactly like the sox of the last few years.

mlb gameday has completely stalled for me. Is the game happening?

The NBA makes less sense than ever to me. 2010s especially latter half - ok alright requires player collusion but if you can get a few stars to sign onto your team you are in championship territory. Starting in 2020 (yeah I know the lakers "won" that season): - Kawhi and George in LAC haven't even been to a conference championship, have missed playoffs - The Nets best season was basically just Durant being awesome and the others not playing - Luka/Kyrie was a disaster, and luka/porzingis was a disaster - Gobert to MN is a disaster - Harden didn't not work, but that team to me is just Embiid being great. - I will not win this but surely people think the LAL underachieved a little? I know 2020 and all, but not a success imo - Diminishing returns here but Dejounta Murray to ATL was a bust Meanwhile, ok you instead stockpiled a ton of young assets in the drafts: - Stockpile teams show how long this can take. OKC may be on a Suns trajectory but when they had 600 first round picks I'm not sure many thought it'd be 2023 and still in a 10th place in a much diminished west - The Magic have lots of nice young talent and seem eons away from putting it together - Pistons have completely busted - New Orleans seemed like they were ready to take a huge step then floundered again while: - Cavs struck gold on an extremely risky pick in Garland and then getting a dominant defensive player in Mobley, then actually getting a star to join that transformed them - Same for Phoenix, who just had that sweet spot in the west where you are in the best conference getting crushed, but probably better than 6 teams in the east so you just get to keep getting to3 picks, while orlando gets picks in 7-10 despite likely being worse - Ditto for Memphis who made good draft picks...but come on, they were bad for two years and got extremely great lottery picks and years to draft. - Danny Ainge was criticized for only getting Tatum/Brown with all of those picks, but basically only tanked one year and did a much better job immediately putting young players in positions of growth and competitiveness. And then you have a bunch of teams with the best players on the planet that have good players outside them but probably would be amazing regardless in Jokic, Embiid and Giannis. I say this basically because I'm not sure there is a harder league to build a winner than the NBA. Clearly there are these orgs that just are better (Celtics, Miami...fine Lakers, ), but then there are orgs that were better until they weren't (SAS, Houston, ...Miami?). But it all seems so random. I guess you have the true ethos kinda work with NYK right now, the celtics, the nuggets. Where at it's heart it's just "let's be realistic about our teams, and always make smart decisions and never get too risky". But that was the Raptors too. No idea why they aren't that good! (watch them make a run). Anyway the bulls aren't in this conversation because the owner is uninterested in winning so isn't worth discussing.

Yeah not gonna lie compared to what's in Charlotte, player with arm that throws hard seems more likely to be successful even with years of unsuccessfulness.

Don’t care, a buc beating is a happy time
