Next from Greg, how the Virginia news shooting was a set-up hoax to bring on gun control so the new world order can take over.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 03:05 PM) I want the media looking into the possibility the kid's family had him disassemble a clock (not make his own clock), put it in a box with wires sticking out, pretend it's his own invention, act like a little jerk when questioned about it, now trying to raise money for himself over his 'mistreatment,' have the kid admit to a Dallas reporter he 'didn't want it to look like a bomb.' Why would a kid excited about his making of a clock even think about it being a bomb if he was merely excited about building a clock? I applaud Bill Maher and his panel for questioning this! Kudos to Mark Cuban as well! Please buy the White sox Mr. Cuban! Another article on the likely hoax http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/09/21/judg...purposeful-hoax Why would a kid excited about his making of a clock even think about it being a bomb if he was merely excited about building a clock? because he was arrested and asked repeatedly why he brought a bomb to school, as he responded that it was a clock.

Where does that rank compared to claiming the president is a secret muslim born in Kenya and illegitimate as president, above or below on the bush league scale?
-
As far as hoaxes go, "son take this clock to school, say it's a clock, watch them arrest you, get released and then shame them"...I mean, the fact that that works kind of shows there is something wrong anyways isn't there? Either as a response to school shootings or a symptom of the general incarceration issue, schools have been using jails way too often. I'm skeptical that using jails as rehabilitation for minors has been a helpful strategy.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 11:14 AM) I'd love to see the Bears win this game, but I'm not sure they are going to score a point. They'll score 3 points.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 22, 2015 -> 12:08 PM) Yeah but look at that list. You get hundreds/thousands of people sick, but no deaths. If your car engine turns off, chances are much, much greater that death or serious injury will occur. Not absolving this guy of anything, but it's more a comparison to other, worse decisions that had even worse consequences. If ss2k5 is going to light this guy up - which i'm fine with - there's not much of a bar on the severity of the crime to the punishment in other cases. When children or old people get sick with something severe like this, some die. The flu does not come close to killing everyone it touches, but it is widespread and hits the most vulnerable. A lot of people eat peanut butter. You'd have to be an idiot to be a CEO in the food industry and not know this risk.

Wow, I did not remember any of that. That's crazy, and seems like a relatively short turnaround for prosecution.

Pretty sure the story is they took off their jackets as they posed, he probably had no idea.

Can't believe Pagano is the scape goat instead of their awful GM.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 21, 2015 -> 10:21 PM) A Colts, Blackhawks, and Kentucky /Louisville basketball fan is complaining about their teams sucking? That's not allowed. SEriously.

Winning games in bunches means solid losing streak to come -
It was kind of weird watching us switch to the spread with Claussen, when we started out with 2 TE set with Cutler.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 21, 2015 -> 04:01 PM) Is Cutler's hammy injury believed to be serious or will he be playing next week? Good luck figuring this out with John Fox as coach.

Seems to be only a matter of time before the crazies burn out and Rubio takes nomination. He is a pretty good candidate who seems much more disciplined than any of the others, which bodes well for general. Thankfully a few years passed since it was showed how spineless he was.

Montas working with less velocity, more movement

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 21, 2015 -> 02:41 PM) The other night he was throwing 97-98, got to 100 a few times, and froze a couple of guys with his slider. Make him a starter, but if that fails, this guy should be really good coming out of the bullpen. Yes. To me, he has a very high floor right now (in terms of making majors), so, he's great trade bait, and also a great asset to build a cheap bullpen. -
Sox have tried to sign Samardzija to a long term deal

Pay the man. JSIAA -
SO, Jay Cutler really does have a strained hamstring. That is the injury.

Probably, I have a feeling there will be a very messy #3-#10 ranking this year. We thought the playoff last year was messy, this year looks like it will be a plateau after ohio state/MSU which will be hard to rank.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 21, 2015 -> 11:13 AM) Check out Page 32 of this polling data. http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2015/images/09/12/iranpoll.pdf Apparently 15% of Democrats and 14% of Liberals think that Obama is a Muslim. I have seen enough to know what the right fringes think, but I can't believe 1 in 7 from his own party think that. This honestly does not surprise me, it has been so "out there" and discussed and covered in a way that gives credibility to it, that those who do not pay attention that much could believe it. Frankly, I think there will be 15% of any opinion out there. Seems to be the amount of idiots in a pool.

I'm not a fan of Sanders and would prefer Hillary win. I have found the movement behind him naively condescending and the epitomy of elite white liberalism. The whole "well if they just let bernie debate them we can change all of their ideas!"...maybe I'm just older. Hillary is not ideal but she'll be able to play good defense. But, yeah, good for him becoming a safe senator in all-white, low population vermont.

For as much as I like Strong and think he'd turn it around long term, Texas's recruits are still better than most of the teams that have beat them the last 2 years. They have been underperforming talent level under him.
-
This sucks. I knew they'd be bad but I was excited for some new players to watch. This is as unwatchable as last year.
-
I didn't think the Bears would give up 50 this year. It happened week 2.

The pass rush is so awful.
