  1. At least Gruden knows when to talk.
  2. I mean, I now respect the bad announcing teams. This is just brutal, why is Dilfer yelling?
  3. This. This is great football.
  4. Man Berman and Dilfer are awful

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 08:16 PM) Did you end up doing it yourself? Yes, draining it first allowed me to get it off.
  6. QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 03:49 PM) This post got lost. What a surprise he has been. Taking preseason performance into account as well, he looks like he can be a potential building block. I really love that the Bears seemingly could have a front 3 in house for years to come for cheap in Will, Ego, and Eddie. In March, I thought the scheme change meant the 2014 class was lost. Their attitude to take the coaching and adjust was a relief. I really think by end of year Sutton/Ferguson/Ratliff will be a hell of a line.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 03:22 PM) Immigration seems to work best we economic conditions warrant it. With the general malaise of the economy, it doesn't fly politically, especially with the unsettled questions of immigrations from Mexico polluting the waters for everyone else. Yes, with the slack that is still apparent I can see that. But I do think there are foreign policy considerations here, with what is asked of major allies of US in the area.

All - thanks for help with oil change questions.
  10. QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 10:10 AM) 10th. 8-13 the final 21 should do the trick. I would be pleased if we could finish 10th.
  11. I would prefer all games be on Sunday, personally, but obviously that era is over.
  12. Yes, I was referring to end zone... however my big complaint last year was that we didn't throw enough jump balls deep to our receivers as we had in 2013. Biggest difference to me between two years was lack of big plays on offense.
  13. Romo is still very good and still has that excellent ability to avoid being taken to the turf. So against a bears team that can't generate pressure, he'll have all day.
  14. Things would be easier if we could actually throw a jump ball to Alshon which was not an option.

QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Sep 13, 2015 -> 09:01 PM) a) There's probably not a huge difference in what you should expect from them offensively in the majors, but Trayce can be valuable with a 90-100 wRC+, whereas Avi cannot, due to his horrendous defence and baserunning. This was all that needed to be said.
  16. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 10:22 AM) I really don't know how good the Packers D is supposed to be. I think they are middle of the NFL at best. Plus they had three starters out yesterday. Yeah, I'd imagine your run d may be terrible which may have contributed to bears success. But there's been many a year where the packers run d was terrible but Bears decided to try to pass into it and get sacked to high hell.
  17. Texas needs a coach good at politics who can handle the demands of keeping the rich boosters happy as well as coaching and recruiting.
  18. http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com/20...3/curious-index So it looks like the biggest texas booster has canceled his suite the rest of the season. Looks like their AD will be out soon, which means Charlie Strong likely won't be there next year. Can't say I don't enjoy this, but I do feel bad for Charlie Strong. I'm sure he'll have a rich-rod like resurgence elsewhere.
  19. I wish the bears SBNation site was better. They produce a lot of content, but it's so much like a ... cbs broadcast. Their jokes are horribly unfunny and it just seems older. Certainly takes a back seat to the white sox, bulls and mizzou one. Spent all weekend laughing at every day should be saturday, then you go to the Bears site and it's just. ..blech.
  20. QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 08:36 AM) Boy, I'm glad that I didn't keep Dez and drafted Jamal Charles instead. Fantasy football talk, eh?
  21. SEC Qb play is terrible outside A&M and Dak. Nobody has stepped up to replace some of the big shoes from 2 years ago with Murray/Manziel/McCarron/Franklin/Shaw/Mettenberger/ and even Wallace and Marshall seem a step above here. Maybe Dobbs will end up being tops in league, but everyone looks pretty crappy (until Drew Lock takes over world)
  22. 3 majors, 4 finals appearances, and 1 conversation about how disappointing Novak is. I'm pretty bummed though, Roger looked on fire this tournament. I don't think I'll see another Federer major.
  23. Man Manning is going to get killed this year. I don't know that this won't be his last.
  24. Mariota looks good.
  25. Jameis first pass was a pick 6
