QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 07:36 PM) July 16th, and it's worth 5 mill. Can Thomas Robinson at 6'10" be relied on to play the 5 if Jo goes down? Do we trust a shorter Taj to man the 5? I think Taj at 5 would be fine. Not ideal, but, we just aren't going to find a C that would play better than Taj at 5, imo.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Ok, well that's definitely enough time for the big FA moves to happen and could certainly create situations where teams need to clear $3-4 million to make their impact signing. Yeah, definitely looking at houston and atlanta. I'm still holding out hope for Thomas Robinson.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 08:13 PM) When does that exemption expire? 7/14 or something like that, maybe 7/16

QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 06:44 PM) The power in my neighborhood doesn't like major sporting events. In less than a week it goes out during the hawks game and yesterday it went out 2 picks before the Bulls....I personally would have liked Crabbe over Snell if they wanted to go with a wing player. I can get behind the Snell pick though, Thibs should have fun with him. A small lineup with Rose-Butler-Snell-Deng-Noah should be long and athletic as s***, if Snell actually plays this year. I'm intrigued by the Erik Murphy pick much more than the Snell pick. I've wanted a stretch 4 for a few years now and it seems as though he's just that. I would hope he gets to play some this year but if the past is any indication then he and Snell might not. VladRad didn't do that for you?

QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 05:29 PM) He's a good shooter, don't let the 3P% fool you. The guy is dead-eye as a jump shooter. Looks like shot selection or volume may have been an issue. Have to like getting a guy with a big-league ready tool, if I can use MLB parlance. I just don't like this pick. I understand his length gives thibs some fun to play with on D. But Kyle Korver rebounded at a better rate in college. His steal and rebound percentage are terrible. He doesn't seem to be able to drive at college let alone NBA. And the reason I liked worse 3pt from belli than better 3pt from korver is he could pick up his dribble and it helped us a lot. This guy doesn't seem to be able to do that. And his shot is LONG. starts so low. I preferred so many other players.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 05:33 PM) If Murphy can become a Ryan Anderson type, I'll take it. I too would like our second round pick to become a top 15 starting forward.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 27, 2013 -> 11:29 PM) If anything, Hahn just seems to not be as stubborn as Kenny. Rick realizes this team is hot garbage and it's time for a shakeup. Expensive hot garbage, which is the worst kind. -
You read that and thought that?

" Despite a quick first step and explosive leaping ability, he’s hesitant to drive ... Contact is not his favorite (2.9 FTA) ... Difficulty handling the rock and creating his own shot against pressure -- scored .59 PPP in ISO opportunities (2.1 TO) ... Reluctant to dribble into his jumper when isolated ... There is substantial room for growth in the mid-range department ... He buys himself free space from the foul line extended by being a long-distance threat, would be well served to use it (flaring/curling off screens and off the bounce) ... Snell needs to play behind a greater sense of urgency rather than letting the action dictate his role." 2.9 FTA

QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2013 -> 08:24 PM) Sharapova lost, Tsonga had to quit. Sounds like courts are garbage. Murray/Djok final? I hope so. Otherwise this'll be worst wimbledon in a long while.

yeah that was a terrible morning ride.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 28, 2013 -> 03:06 AM) Close to dead eye. 39%? He also is horrible at rebounding despite being 6'6 And he can do nothing besides spot up and shoot. Not a fan of this pick.

Now have seen 2 Stanley cup clinchers at Bottom Lounge. Love the intensity there. Last cup, I was first to realize Kane scored. This time I was always last to know. It was a delirious last 2 minutes. I think I'll take this game over last game 6.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 24, 2013 -> 09:15 PM) that is so nasty. Everytime i see that I wonder how they possibly can allow that on their premier event. came to bottom lounge where I was 3 years ago. Gotta be good luck GO HAWKS

QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 08:49 PM) I got mine a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it. Are you new to Android? Yes. Enjoying the little Google things, like their type correction. It's a very fast phone. But, the iPhone touch screen is still the best imo. Love the camera software on here, and blinkfeed really was easy to ignore.

Got the HTC one yesterday. Looks beautiful. Let me know if anyone finds fun shut to do with it.

Well, we are in a much better spot then down 3-1. I was so proud when we used our extra man advantage to crash net then threw the puck toward the goal.

Series has been so unenjoyable. And so predictable.

Why is shaw in penalty?

Why is joey Crawford allowed to officiate in the finals?

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 14, 2013 -> 06:15 AM) Well, I would say the bigger difference is that you had Dirk playing some of the best basketball of his life (Spurs don't have a player like that). Neither one of these teams was going to win all three middle games. It just rarely happens. If the Spurs can get game 5, they have a real good shot. I still question whether Wade/Bosh can bring it like this (game 4) in consecutive games. If they do, yeah, it's over. Edit: s***, I take it back about teams rarely winning games 3-4-5. Pistons and Heat (twice) have done it since '04. Totally forgot about the Pistons and '06 Heat. I don't recall Dirks series being that great so much as Jason Terry and Jason Kidd going off for three. But maybe that was just game 6 that is blocking my memory.
