  2. Pretty sure this is an open secret at this point. An old Daily Herald reporter told my brother its TLR too. Not that they can't be wrong...but these are the exact people that would be excited by this and not shut their mouths. Secretly hoping it's zombie Pants Rowland who can also espouse precautions he learned from the Spanish flu days.
  3. Seems pretty fair as you cheer for a situation where the manager is dictating personnel moves to the owner and bypassing the scouting department to look at what happened when he was recently making personnel moves.
  4. Cons/Pros Rick hahn Cons: conservative with top talent on market, too aggressive with aging power hitters Pros: Knows how names work
  5. Yes it's bad. It's the silly assumption that the opposite of bad is always good and not worse.
  6. Until the obvious happens and TLR wants different players
  7. boy mookie betts sure is good.
  8. nothing says squeaky clean like tony la russa. Shame Eddie Johnson isn't still the police chief, they could have had a ball.
  9. this is obnoxious
  10. You realize this would be a pretty big right? The owner installing his own manager and bypassing his GM and President?
  11. So why would Hahn put himself in a trap like this?
  12. I think one piece is a realistic deal needs to be more 2021 ready for them. Maybe a 3 team deal
  13. Well that wasn’t a 1 for 1, deivi Garcia is their #1 prospect
  14. Arrietta is donezo
  15. Where did you see that?
  16. The attractiveness to frazier is the re-allocation of money to exclusively pitching is very attractive this year. Which means yanks could get a haul unfortunately.
  17. oh yeah sorry. I did stiever + thompson. I'm really not sure what he costs tbh.
  18. don't care going to do this all day Medium-sized pitching approach + clint frazier
  19. Maybe. Maybe a pandemic occurred and people know Ball rumors do well.
  20. Why is that a red flag
  21. So they think LaRussa is a worse manager?
  22. New Ringer mock draft has Bulls getting Lamelo.
  23. Uh oh, the double B-hive bout to blow up James mentions.
  24. It probably is honestly, and Marwin is definitely more durable and passable in infield than Leury. I could see two equally plausible scenarios. - The top FAs get gobbled up quick to reasonably similar deals to before, but then all other mid-level/low-level FAs are put on ice and start taking really low deals in Jan/Feb. - The mid-level guys jump at first available deals, while top FAs hold out for months and possibly benefit at greater fidelity into 2021 fidelity on attendance (or vice versa, gamble and are crushed by bad news there)
