Two questions from a new Sox fan
I'm not sure if it's in a nicer area. I'd say there is more recreational stuff out there to do but bridgeport has become a pretty nice area right around USCF.

Two questions from a new Sox fan
1. U.S. Cellular has become one of the nicest parks in all of baseball, it's a beautiful park and I'm sure you'll absolutely love it when you go there for your first time. 2. The cubs are the trendy team I guess you can say, they have that lovable loser thing attached to them. Also there are plenty of so called cub fans that are really wrigley field fans who go there to get wasted and sit out in the sun and nothing else.

Sox targeting 2B
Good post Jim. The two things that bother me the most about willie are his basing stealing ability and bunting ability. I think if he can work on those two things he'll up his ba and his obp while becoming a pretty solid ballplayer. Right now I think it would be fine to have him bat 9th and he'd be a very good number 9 hitter and maybe down in the lineup will take the pressure off of him and maybe he can learn some things from rock and spod. I'd still like to see someone brought in to play 2nd base that can bat 2nd in the order so we can move aaron down in the lineup, however I have absolutely no problem with willie as the starting 2nd baseman as long as he's hitting 9th to start the year.

Eric Milton signed by the Reds
LOL, this should be interesting.

Polanco another option at 2B?
Polanco would add so much to this team and I really don't think his 5 million dollar salary would be that big of a deal. The reason I say that is because it's only a 1 year and the sox still probably have about 5 million to work with. Get Placido you are right around the set budget and take your team into spring training.

Rivalries
You know I'm just messing with ya minny. I just don't think there are any lessons he needs to learn to be a sox fan, being a sox fan is about rooting for them not about rooting against the cubs and trust me I hate the cubs as much as anyone here.

Bulls/Bucks
I went up to Milwaukee to watch the game tonight and I definitely agree with qwerty on this one, there was nothing they could do on redd tonight he was on fire. He had hands in his face and he'd just nail a turn around j. I joked with my friends when he missed an open 3 that they should leave him open for often cause that's the only time he's missed. Besides redd not missing this was just a piss poor game, not only that but I didn't like the way skiles coached in tonights game. To me it made absolutely no sense to pull Othella out of the game to put eddy back in, Othella wasn't missing, everytime he got the ball he was scoring, he was great tonight. Overall pitiful game, hopefully they'll bounce back tuesday when I'm back at the UC rooting for 'em.

Millwood to Tribe
I'm guaranteeing the tribe finishes with a worst record then last year, how 'bout them apples

Millwood to Tribe
I'm still not sold on Cleveland, I think they finish with a worse record then last year, I really do, even with this signing. I don't think to highly of Millwood and I think there is a good chance he finishes the year with an era above 5.
