Best Pitching Staff in the AL Central
I think it's the sox but it's very close, imo. I think the sox have a better starting staff because of the bottom 3, I think silva is going to be far worse then last year, Lohse sucks and Mullholland or Mays aren't good either. I think the sox have more depth to their pen, even though I'd say the twins have more dominating guys at the backend of their bullpen. I think it's very close but I think the sox have the advantage right now, jmo. EDIT: Looks like I read the question wrong and it's just the rotation, not including the pen, if that is the question I definitely think the sox have a stronger rotation.

Aaron Rowand
This is probably aaron wanting more money so the sox are going to hold out on offering more until he proves himself again. From all reports the sox offered Arow a similar to deal as they did with Juan, aaron probably wants more money so the sox are just going to wait, jmo.

Pierzynski still possible
Kenny said it's not happening(Aj, that is), rotoworld can believe what they want, unless kenny is lying to stay under the radar, this ain't happening, imo.

Contact Eckstein
Sure but don't be surprised if he improved offensively if more people recognized him, giving him a better shot to be a gold glover.

tell me what u think of this
No thanks. Keep this roster intact and add eck or cora. No need to mess with this roster now, I really like the team we have put together right now.

Contact Eckstein
Having him bat 2 also helps the bottom of our lineup because it moves everyone down a slot.

WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
Orlando will probably be slotted as the 5th guy so he can be skipped if need be but if we can keep him healthy he's definitely our number 3 guy, if that makes any sense.

I'd rather have Eck but I'd love either.

I don't think he's saying Garland is quite the pitcher that these guys have been, however he's saying if you compare stats through a certain point of their careers that they're very comparable.

Ah...my bad, for some reason I thought he was after this season.

WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
Ha....I hope not, that's not what I meant. I'm just saying I think we'll have money to work with. I don't think it's to much when the Lieber's, Wright's, Clement's are getting 7 plus and in the case of Matt 8 plus, when el duque is arguably better then these guys and some of them have injury risks also. I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one

WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
Well we have the money to play with this year, so I agree with you there that for this year it's fine. Next year Pauly comes off the books and so does jon. I don't think 4 mill a year is that bad and we'll have some money to work with next year. It's also a possibility that the sox won't have to make any starting pitcher acquisitions going into next year with Bmac on the way. I can see how you're a little worried about the money but I think we'll have some money to play with next year and I think we'll be fine, jmo.

Pending Physical, El Duque is signing with the sox for believed to be 2 years 8 mill plus incentives.

Up on rotoworld too, looks like this thing is actually going to get done

WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
Exactly, when El Duque is healthy he is atleast a number 3 and last year while he pitched with the yanks he was their ace, that's how good he can be when healthy.

I try not to think about 2003, that team should have won the world series.

WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
Add Pavano and Wright for the yanks
-
WSCR 670AM, MLB.com: "El Duque" agrees to deal
El Duque at 4 mill could honestly be the steal of all the free agents.

In the division it's easily the best, imo. Nobody else has 5 quality starters.
