People just get tired of hearing about the guy. Obviously that's not his fault but he's not the only athlete it has happened to.

That said, the consensus on this site knows exactly what Mark is. He's extremely beloved and for good reason but people know that he's not an ace.

Adam Dunn or Alex Rios would get my vote.
