QUOTE(RockRaines @ Apr 2, 2007 -> 04:03 PM) wanna take over my DPBL team? I think im done. That league is crap now. As a gm, you can't have a blueprint for success when you have unforeseen rule changes come without notice. A league without direction and stability is not a league for me. Now division changes without notice? I say have fun until the next drastic change. PS. You may have been right, I am the kiss of death!

I always figured that Jack Mcdowells HOME OPENER start in 1991 was the worst when the sox lost 16-0 to the Tigers. Jacks Line: 2.2 IP 5 H 6 R 6 ER 3 BB Unbelievably, Jose has that horrible outing beat.

QUOTE(fathom @ Mar 29, 2007 -> 09:59 PM) I invited the following people with their date: Jphat and Scott Podsednik SSI and Greg Walker Flash and Liriano Santo/Dorf and Zambrano Rangercal and Frank Thomas Jimbo and Julian Wright Technology my friend. 40 dollars total for the seven days to have wireless internet in the room. Mrs. Fathom will be hanging out on the beach, and I'll be b****ing about Ozzie. I don't want to find out why they REALLY call him the big hurt. Maybe I will just say no to this date.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 28, 2007 -> 07:26 AM) Hopefully they make a movie out of the rebuttal site, which destroyed pretty much all of their arguements. Popular Mechanics wrote a book claiming to debunk all the 9/11 myths. Popular mechanics and Loose change had a debate on PBS not too long ago. part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 part 5 -
I say let Briggs sit. Set an example. If not, they will be in the same situation with Tommie Harris next year. If the bears do not get 2 1st rd draft picks ( like other franchised players fetched) Let him sit. The bears hold the high hand and Briggs and Rosenhaus know it. No way should they trade Briggs just to move up.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 26, 2007 -> 12:04 AM) Hence why I'm going to state my piece and will not be discussing this any further, it's just not worth it. There was NO reason for a key part of this team to be playing an unfamiliar position in the 8th inning of a late March ballgame. Hall will not be playing any 1B this season, why the hell would he be out there now? Wiki was behind the plate at the time, why was Hall moved from catcher to 1B late? It was a foolish move and it looks like it could cost the team. Then what the hell is the point of even having a message board if you're not going to play arm chair manager/GM? Just wondering what you think the point of this places existence is? More news and discussion less whining. -

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 25, 2007 -> 10:17 PM) KW goes out and makes one of the best signings of his tenure as White Sox GM and it takes Ozzie less than 3 weeks to f*** it up. Super. Kalapse....14,730 posts Ozzie Guillen.....1 World Series Ring Fans managing the white sox from a message board.... Priceless. -

QUOTE(Soxfest @ Mar 21, 2007 -> 02:02 PM) I like the trade, Brown takes a pay cut or see ya. Id be more for a clause in case he gets injured. Brown is worth every penny when he is on the field.

QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Mar 21, 2007 -> 10:20 PM) it's news to people who still care about the 05 sox. and it makes the trade for Floyd and Gio look better. Former players are not allowed in the Sox section . Please use the following as reference for posting guidelines. (anarchy)WhiteSox.com..........................Soxtalk......WSI(Communism)

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Mar 20, 2007 -> 06:34 PM) Could be the end for Mike Brown. Not a chance. He will last through 2007 at the very least.

QUOTE(Linnwood @ Mar 18, 2007 -> 11:17 PM) Not to rehash this argument again for the 1,000th time, but part of the reason Boston has a "national appeal" is because they are always f***ing on TV.... Like the original poster in this thread said: self fulfilling prophecy. I don't think I speak for only myself when I say that A LOT of the members of "Red Sox Nation" know very little about baseball, (ever been at The Cell when we play them?), and would easily switch allegiance if another big city team got the same media coverage. Good point... I don't know how many people I have spoken too, told me that they grew up loving the cubs because of WGN. -
QUOTE(max power @ Mar 19, 2007 -> 01:41 AM) What a total waste of a human being. I hope he vomits dip juice all over himself, falls in the street trying to clean himself up, gets run over by a dump truck, and dragged half a mile until his entire body is raw, then gets stabbed in the anus with a rusty switch blade. awesome! Post of the year!

People, this thread is about Brian Andersons injury . I am sure ALL south side fire works man is trying to get is an UPDATE. Why must this turn into another Brian vs the Grinders thread? Don't we have another thread(s) for that? I suggest pinning a Brian Anderson thread , because it is getting annoying sorting through all the trash . I would like to know BA is alright too.

I think the grinder impact is BIG. If I were a pitcher, it is good to know that I have someone out there that lays it out on the line for me, especially CF. Phycologically, I DO think Rowand out there had an impact out there. I'm not saying BA is no slouch though. But Grinders as you will are an intangible that I like on the Sox. But, what do I know? Everyone on soxtalk is a GM, you guys all know how to GM better than Kenny and all of you would manage a game better than Ozzie. I just can't figure out why you guys do your work for free.
