  1. QUOTE(southsideirish @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 10:46 AM) Not that it makes any difference at all, but how old is the daughter that was kicked out of the vehicle? 15 http://www.journalstar.com/articles/2007/0...1c066011420.txt
  2. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 11:02 PM) ^Prolly the only guy would vote for as of this moment. I dont, I only vote for the players who are deserving of a spot based on their production. Thats just me though. Im sure the majority of Red Sox And Yankee Fans will agree with you and follow your lead
  3. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 10:21 PM) Jim Thome. That is all. eh I still vote for the ENTIRE lineup
  4. I think it's still a little early to say who got the better end of the deal. All I'm saying is so far so good. Bmac didn't look so hot today either.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 06:16 PM) Are you known for your premonitions? Please tell me you are. It's April. Give it a break. How many people wanted JD gone in April of 2005?
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 07:49 AM) He's literally limping to 500. yep, just like how everyone( well at least 80% of the board) said he was limping all year last year. 4th place in MVP Voting .270 avg .381 OBP .926 OPS 39 HR 114 RBI Just like 2006, I think Frank will be just fine.

  8. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 08:04 PM) While you are back there then, will you at least point out when the other team brings in a LOOGY to face his awesome back to back to back lefties at the top of the order, so he can pretend to use the bench? I don't know if you were around in the 80's and 90's or if you just jumped in 5 years ago or so, but I have seen too many mediocre seasons. Ozzie brought in a ring his second year, and has fielded solid teams since he became manager. Nothing you crybabies say will change my view.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 08:33 PM) I want the Bulls to get Hibbert so bad.
  10. I want this years draft as deep as possible, it only helps the bulls. Wright, please go for the money.

  12. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 11, 2007 -> 01:26 AM) So you'll take Chris Young over Jose Reyes? If Young would average 8 RBI a week ( which is 208 for the year) It would be hard not to. However, Reyes is responsible for a lot of run production himself ( 81 RBI and 122 Runs scored in 2006) .
  13. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 10:35 PM) Um, those are his numbers and it was in response to Dick Allen's posts. Spearking of "what if's"........... yeah no s***. We are debating this and player B doesn't even have RBI's.
  14. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 05:25 PM) Dude, you're hilarious. You debate RBI's, Felix asks you what if no one is on in front of him (which, um, is kind of key for RBI's), and you say "no, the debate was 8 RBI a week". Do you not see the circle you just talked in? 8 RBI's is 8 RBI's even if they came by Solo shots ( which you already mentioned, so I didn't think it was necessary to point out again) QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) Or how about the fact he bats .077 with the bases empty (13 at-bats) and have a .949 OPS with runners on (13 at-bats) ? Dude, I'm just going by the bottom line, quit bringing all these "what ifs" into the equation. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 06:43 PM) and if he hits .300 he'll drive in 12 hitter A .183 /8 RBI hitter B .300 ( RBI produiction never mentioned) That's all this debate is about. who would you rather have? That's it. If everyone misunderstood me, I apologize.
  15. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 12:40 PM) http://www.talkbhawks.com/forums/index.php...0entry219 Posts in this thread 15 Posts in Talkbhawks history 164 Steve just wanted this thread to get exposure
  16. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 04:33 PM) So what happens when the people in front of him stop getting on base and stop giving him opportunities? Then you're left with a worthless hitter who can't hit his weight (or can barely hit his weight). No, the debate was 8 RBI a week. Bottom Line. I think I lost you.
  17. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 11:48 AM) I just see the market as insane right now, with the steep price the Marlins paid for f***ing Jorge Julio! I hear the Marlins received 300 pts and a 4.5 prospect.
  18. QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 11:46 AM) That deal sounded like OOTP lol. If this were ootp, philadelphia would jump at the chance to trade Ryan Howard For Andy Sisco
  19. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 11:40 AM) So I'm surfing ESPN.com and notice that the Phils are 1-6, mainly because of their struggling bullpen. We have some arms IN THE MINORS right now that could definitely help the Phillies, and we're one of the few franchises that can gloat about it. The law of supply and demand says that the Phillies might be willing to overpay for a character like Boone Logan, and no might be the time to act while they can still save their season. Let me state, first and foremost, that I think the Darin Erstad/Brian Anderson combo is better than Aaron Rowand, I am not in ANY WAY advocating for the return of the great "CRASH." However, if we could get someone like SS Adrian Cardenas along with a C Carlos Ruiz, who would be a good solution vs. LHP if we could pry him away (depending on Toby Hall's recovery) then I don't see why a phone call would not be made. I keep hearing Hall will be ok by May. We would have 1 too many catchers ( not that it's a bad thing, just not necessary). I do like Cardenas however.
  20. QUOTE(Brian @ Apr 10, 2007 -> 11:07 AM) that lady at the end with all those buttons desperately needs to get laid.
