If you have a chance to pick up one of the best players in the game, you do it. Wells not only plays GG defense, but would be one of the best hitters on the team.

It appears that the sox are picking up the mentality of aquiring as many hard throwers for our pen as we can. As it stands right now, the last 4 guys out of the pen throw 96+ I wouldnt be surprised to see KW pick up Speier (whom I like) to complete the back end of the pen with 5 guys who have closer stuff. Throw in some middle relief (haeger, Riske) and we have a nice pen IMO.

If you trade one of our starters to the Mets or Yankees for top pitching spects, it makes BMAC expendable for Crawford IMO. Which is a nice situation to be in.
