QUOTE(wcw2323 @ May 8, 2006 -> 06:03 PM) Still waiting for the 50 guys who were naysayers and basic lemmings today to stand up and apologize for the BS they were slinging. I chose to not divulge my source as requested...period, end of story. :finger still doesnt change your douche-bagedness

Indy isnt bad. The downtown area is actually somewhat nice, alot of good chain restaurants and bars like the Red headed Piano bar. Also there is an awesome cigar bar in downtown indy called Nick-somethings. Probably my fav bar of all time.

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ May 8, 2006 -> 04:13 PM) It should be a grinder ball rule of some sort after this happens...we have parades, they have protests Grinder ball rule number 1908: While we parade, they protest. 1-0 Good guys.

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 8, 2006 -> 03:58 PM) You scared me because I just jumped to page 10 and figured you knew what you were talking about. The no green scared the s*** out of me. No, Freddy was traded. I think it was a smart move. Liotta is being called up.

QUOTE(fathom @ May 8, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) Redding is terrible though. At least with Haeger, you have the chance of him being a diamond in the rough at the MLB level. If Contreras is only going to miss a week or so, I have no problem giving Haeger the start. Moving up a guy for one start? Or moving your pitchers up one day. This is a baseless gay rumor, and needs to die.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 8, 2006 -> 03:10 PM) yep, email [email protected] for more information. They talked about it all morning on the Score God, that has taken pathetic to a new level. Would this have been happening if this was last year? I love the sqeeze that the sox have put on the cubs fanbase. Even on Mike and Mike this morning they were talking about the sox gaining fanbse from the flubs. Awesome.

Seriously, with Dye out with a season ending calf tear, trading Garcia for jose Guillen was a great idea by KW. Im super excited to see Liotta pitch.

QUOTE(bmags @ May 8, 2006 -> 03:02 PM) a Anderson demoted, Liotta called up would be hilarious Garcia Traded, Liotta called up.

A guy in my office said something about cubs fans protesting outside the stadium on an upcoming game. Its even posted at cubs.com message boards, and apparently was mentioned on the Score. Anybody heard about this pathetic mess?

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 8, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) Maybe if we could put the thread titles in green.... Liotta called up, Garland traded.
-
The only thing we will see on wed is The Count going for his 14th straight. Biatch.
-
I think its funny how now people are beginning to ask for links, and debate it. The guy made some s*** up, otherwise he wouldnt have asked for a confirm, and whatnot. Hey heres one: Liotta is taking Garlands spot in the rotation, because we are concerned about him. Ok now spread it.

QUOTE(YASNY @ May 7, 2006 -> 11:12 AM) Let's see here. The reasons offered were walks and passed balls. In the 60's and 70's a knuckleball didn't dance? Catchers didn't have trouble with them? Yas, is there anything more worthless than a reliever who cant hold runners, walks people and throws alot of passed balls? s***, the walks alone kick Marte's ass out of town, and made Seattle want to trade thornton.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 8, 2006 -> 02:00 PM) He's upset that a few people were saying that Charles Heager would not make a good middle reliever for the Sox this year in a thread in the Futuresox forum, so he makes up this rumor . . . He wouldnt. A knuckleballer is the worst idea for pitching with runners on.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 8, 2006 -> 12:25 PM) Lefty. Although I play golf right handed and am a better hitter with my right hand. And my theory is lefties eat with the fork in there left hand, but unlike righties, we use our right hand with our knife and don't set it down. Righties tend to use the knife and switch hands when they do things, but than set it down. Im the exact same. Lefty for eating, writing. Golf righty, and I was a switch hitter in baseball, even as an 8 year old.

QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ May 7, 2006 -> 10:21 PM) Hey i would be lefty as well. me too.

And thats why you dont take the bat out of Iguchi's hands this early in the game.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) cracker crust = thin crust, at least in my culinary vocabulary of trying to explain the difference to outsiders. ah ok, ive never heard that before.
-
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) On the way home after the game, just get on ALL THE WAY up to the very 1st car. Most people are too lazy to do that and they jam up the last 3 cars while the ones in the front are empty. Dude, come on
-
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:17 PM) Sorry but I shat my pants every time we gave him the rock. He's a coin toss. Yeah, but before that he was lights out.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:15 PM) Pequods, is that near Webster Place Theater? Is that still there? I think so, I used to order that when I lived in LP. That and pats.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:14 PM) See choices above. no, the cracker crust.
-
QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:12 PM) Malnati's gets my vote. But do not leave the city without tryng cracker crust Chicago pizza as well. That is the true Chicago pizza and to any who say differently. where is that?

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ May 5, 2006 -> 03:10 PM) For deep dish, CERTAIN Giordano's restaurants. They were a 'can't miss' at one point. Now you have to be selective about which location you go to. For thin, Falco's on Archer. You've never heard of it and you'll probably never go there. Thin crust is a better argument IMO, because there are actually huge differences between the pizzas. My favs are Mrs T's in DG and Dags downtown. Also Pats and Pequods is good too.
