Amazing shot . . . No better way than walk off win! Congrats to Thome!
-
I was at this game, right behind home plate! Best game of my life! Thome . . . . Yeeeeees!
-
Soooooo what are the Sox at in home runs now? Uribe, Thome, and Konerko seem to be helping to get closer to 200 . . .
-
That was definitely an awesome inning pitched by Bobby. Those first two plays were incredible. Hope he continues this streak for a long time. He is completely dominating right now!

Let's just not use Toby Hall as a backup 1st baseman, we saw how well that experiment worked out . . .

QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Aug 11, 2007 -> 11:07 PM) I have a somewhat inside source to the Indians and their players...... Cabrera is uncircumsized and his penis smells really bad. I'm not even kidding, i know someone who provided me with this knowledge. No wonder the Indians don't want him anymore . . .

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 13, 2007 -> 03:42 PM) He should be showing off in Charlotte then. Ha ha, , I agree! I say Fields is most athletic on this team. QB and good 3rd baseman, that's much better than a kicker and injured outfielder.

Javy Vazquez.....now what do we do??
kageman129 replied to whitesoxfan101's topic in Sox Baseball Headquarters
Get Salty here . . . Even though Javy is doing a solid job, I would love a new catcher. A.J. is an awesome guy, but trade him for some infield help, or pitching. If we get Salty, that would be amazing. -
Albert Belle interested in owning White Sox
kageman129 replied to CaliSoxFanViaSWside's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Screw having him own the club. Get rid of Walker's ass and hire Belle as hitting coach. Well, anybody except Walker, please. -
I'm not that big on the HR Derby anymore, but I've always thought it was just for All-Stars to do. Maybe I'm wrong . . . And I understand he was last year's winner so defend his crown and all that, but still. Just thought I'd see what others thought.
-
Howard in HR Derby Am I the only one that thinks it isn't fair at all that someone who wasn't selected to the All-Star Team is in the HR Derby? Sure, he is the reigning champion, but I always thought this was a game for just the All-Stars to be in . . . Just wondering how everyone else feels about it.

No wonder A-Rod was spotted with that stripper or whoever . . . Hell, if my wife looked like that, I would do the same.

QUOTE(Omar Minaya @ Jun 26, 2007 -> 04:49 AM) you didn't reply. you merely restated the original argument argument 1 - milledge argument 2 - milledge > 2 draft picks knight - argument 1 me - argument 2 predicated upon top prospects being more valuable than unknown draft picks, not to mention he would help the sox much faster than draft picks knight - milledge's character issues wouldn't fit with sox that is a reply. you merely stated that the sox would be happy to take 2 draft picks. that's just restating the original argument. I'm starting to think this guy isn't really Omar Minaya . . .

QUOTE(Chopper2Hopper @ Jun 21, 2007 -> 04:40 PM) Not even Girardi, who just turned down the O's job? I've never been a big fan of him. Probably cause of the Yankees connection. I just like the way Ozzie manages. Well, except the bullpen.
-
QUOTE(Allsox @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 04:16 PM) If Ozzie's given up on the team, he would have stepped down as manager already. He's got too much pride to steal JR's money by packing it in himself. You are damn right. There is no way Ozzie is giving up on the team. At least I would hope not. They need to just unload a few guys and try for next year. I wouldn't want anyone other than Guillen managing this ballclub . . .

I really like Jerry Owens, he has a lot of speed which is always fun to watch, but he just needs to learn to get on base. I would take Owens over Pods any day of the week. Although I would like to see Sweeney up here again this year before Owens comes back.

When will this team win 10 games in a row?

QUOTE(diegotony06 @ Jun 21, 2007 -> 03:28 PM) I was optimistic after the first game against Florida, but after being at the game yesterday and just seeing this team play, I can no longer be optimistic at all. We really need to trade away as many players as we can, and get some new blood in here. This team is just really in a bad way right now, and I don't see it getting any better anytime soon. One thing I do want in a bad way is URIBE OF THIS f***ING TEAM. I can't stand him, and I want him gone ASAP. He is a bum in the field and at the plate. Yea, after yesterday's game it is definitely time to get rid of some dead weight. Juan Uribe, although at times great on defense, should be gone. It would help the team so much more to get new middle infielders. Bring on the young guys, at least they would be FUN to watch. Unlike this pile of crap. -
Thank you! At work we just got new computers so I needed the good ole' White Sox background. I appreciate the help.

Hey, I have been scrolling through a few of the pages for the May wallpaper and I can't find it for anything. Can someone help me out please, I'm at work and don't wanna spend my whole time searching for it . . .

Let's break this skid of terrible hitting and come out with a 10 to nothing win, no home runs. I know it won't happen, but it never hurts to wish for things. In reality, I see a 4 to 1 win for the Angels. That one being a home run by Dye. But prove me wrong Sox!
-
All I know is that Buehrle is a great guy, and has been an amazing pitcher on the South Side for a long time. To let a left-handed pitcher this good go, would be just plain stupid. You have to at least attempt to resign him, which the White Sox will do. Hopefully he'll be back next year, pitching just as good as he is this year.
-
There is no chance in hell I would ever vote for him. He is not the most valuable player anywhere. I hope he breaks his leg 1 home run shy of Hank's record . . . Can you tell I hate Barry Bonds?
-
Mark is just a really classy guy, and it would be a shame to see him walk away. But at the same time, he knows he's worth a lot of money . . . Oooooo please bring Mark back in '08 and beyond!
-
I'm predicting a HUGE game from Joe Crede on his birthday! Go Joe! Go White Sox, kill the Tigers tonight!

MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!
kageman129 replied to ShoeLessRob's topic in 2007 Season in Review
Now it's time for Javy to follow up and have a nice back to back no-hitters! Great job by Buehrle last night, amazing. I love hearing Hawk get excited like that!
