When does Reynolds "know" anything? He's the least reliable baseball person on ESPN. Listen to Joe Morgan talk about the finer points of the game, then listen to Reynolds. Both were long time 2nd basemen in the bigs. Yet, Morgan's insight and knowledge blows Reynolds away.

Next time a 5th starter is needed will be Saturday the 19th.

Brando has a lot of insightful opinions and they are usually right on the money. What Brando lacks, at times, is a bit of tact when someone disagrees with him. Though, I get the feeling that is by his own choice and really doesn't care who he irritates. However, I've been guilty of the same thing on occasion. So please, Brando, don't take this as critcism. It is not intended as such.

The Sox wouldn't have to sit anybody. They would rotate the guys in and out of the lineup like they did early in the year before Magglio went down. No problem at all.

The Mets could have just put in a waiver claim for Ramirez back in the off season. Some of the rumors these guys stir up are lacking one thing ..... Logic!

I haven't seen anything but denials from Williams when it comes to the possibility of trading Borchard. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps him. I think Borchard can help this team, this year.

I can see the Sox including Crede in a package of players, if we could get Beltran and Randa. I don't see the Sox moving Crede without getting an adequate replacement for the rest of the year.

Trading Valentin for Patterson would hurt this years team. In the long run, it would help the Sox ..... maybe. I think Borchard has as much chance of helping the Sox this year as Patterson would. With all the good young OF prospects, it doesn't make sense to me to trade for another one unless we were going to move him later or one of the others now. I'd much rather have Steve Finley as a stopgap measure. The guy is a winner.

I was thinking this about something about the Utica Blue Sox of the NY-Penn League. They used to be a Sox minor league affiliate. Regardless, this is very cool of the coaches and trainers to help out. Also cool on the part of the organization.

Honestly, I feel Reagan should be honored in some similar fashion. However, I think it's a little quick and would be considered a knee jerk reaction. I don't lnow about replacing Hamilton. My suggestion would be replacing Grant on the $50. He was a great general, but a poor president. In fact, Ike deserves that honor more than Grant.
