Excellent work, Gregory. I just sent in my list of 25 favorite Sox players. Sad to say, I forgot about Black Jack. He should've been on there.

Cowley crossed my mind, but because 8 inning ho-hitters don't count anymore I dismissed that thought.

I think the expression was supposed to be "All-eee All-eee All in free" ... but it got corrupted to Ocean free and Oxen free where I grew up because kids just said things like that when they weren't sure what to say.

The last manager traded is that guy now on the north side. Can't recall his name at the moment.

I'd also put Horlen and Gary Peters in the rotation over Seaver and Wilhelm. Seaver wasn't a White Sox long enough. Wilhelm, I'd list in the bullpen. As a great as Dick Allen was for the Sox, his days as a 3B were behind him. Ventura would be my starter.
