  1. Does the manager understand this is a "high leverage" situation?
  2. Nice play Yoan, knew exactly what to do before he caught it. Good sign for a youngster.
  3. nice managing he's 30 points higher against LHP. Renteria is fucking brain dead.
  4. Good thing you held him close at 1st! That's the exact thing I bet half the fielders are thinking right now.
  5. OMG! That was fucking hilarious, Tilson flips a foul ball into the stands and it hits the shirtless oiled up fat old dude right in his man boob as the dude tries to throw two empties away. that is priceless.
  6. Now he's puckering, endless throws to first. Confirmation bias probably but whatever.
  7. Get off the fucking bag Abreu. Jesus.
  8. Hey look he's falling apart in the stretch. Go figure.
  9. Don't think so the CF did a good job playing the bounce off the wall.
  10. Bounced about three feet up off the wall. Little more launch angle and it's gone.
  11. You can tell Stone likes Jason as a person, you can also tell at times that Stone wonders if Jason has any idea what he's watching.
  12. His delivery is like watching an octopus fall out of a tree.
  13. that sucks. at least he put a good swing on it.
  14. 26 pitches, 11 strikes, is that bad?
  15. James Shields folks. We will always have two great things from his time here. One of them is the time Jame Shields caused the "feisty" Twins to lose their 3B coach and Manager in one inning by using an ingenious play on a recent rules change. The other?
  16. Sure, but in this case, again, I'm trying to use induction to the best of my ability given many variables and imperfect information -- that the Sox have zero reason to lie about this. Like, are they telling Dunning -- "hey, bruh, this is a PR move, you're really having surgery in August, don't worry about the lost time we'll make it up down the road". I find that highly implausible. What I do find plausible is that given what ptatc has said and given the Sox' public statements that this is the best course of action as determined by their medical team and that they have honestly relayed that info to the fans.
  17. Yea thanks for that info Cali, I'm a bit stoned and meant rubber obviously. I think after watching it a few more times he did step off. Good try by James honestly. Maybe sometimes you get the guy off base.
  18. Start at Trout straight up or is that too aggressive?
  19. He totally fucking balked. That was awesome when Ricky convinced the umps to convene. Good job there Rick. Does anyone think he stepped off the mount there? Looked like he was on the mound, pivoted and forgot the rules change. It's a stupid rules change never understood the point of it personally.
  20. Good job James, you made Twinkie Town post this tonight:
  21. To be fair the guy ran his mouth a bit and has mostly backed it up. If he can make 2-3 more starts like this he'll get his wish to play for a contender. The Mariners look like an obvious potential destination. He'd fit in nicely there imo.
