ha thanks as long as I've been here you'd think I'd remember that it gets pinned to top when it's open in PHT. Thanks guys.

Yea Sosa has some value on a contender looking for a fairly "safe" 1.5 WAR type to plug in at 2B. I think he's the obvious man out at the moment if we do decide to trade an IF. I like him, obviously, but a 2 WAR 2B isn't making any difference any time soon for our team if we can package him to get a quality like B+ type OF prospect that would be fine.

Hi, could you link the forum in this thread. Ty.

I should have taken a screenshot. Oddest advertisement I've seen here. It's "7 shocking White Sox trades" or something and 6 of them already happened but number 7 is Luis Robert heads to LA. WTF? Just bizarre clickbait, text was all AI slop too. I couldn't click on the ad seemingly on my tablet. If I see it again I'll take the time to screenshot it.
-
Bro WTF is that ad with a fake Robert to LA trade!?
-
For now they can and that gives us additional info on their future while not necessarily losing any trade value.

Most consecutive 100-loss seasons in MLB history

He's raking it in with the Bulls and franchise value he's just too greedy to realize that a guaranteed profit every year isn't the end all be all of owning a team. -
How did T Bev get hired?

I'd probably just keep them both for now. I don't see any rush to move them we have plenty of AB for both them if we would just configure the roster properly in another march towards 110+ losses.
-
They both need to be developed as C. They aren't horrible defenders and neither one hits enough for any other full time position.
-
I like that turn of phrase.

We poke fun but the discipline needed to be a pro athlete usually translates pretty well to sales. -
It sounds like they didn't go cheap for no reason and drafted a decent mix of high upside and maybe some guys they can plug in sooner rather than later. I dunno, give it three years and ask again. I give it a straight C.

This is a very White Sox turn him into something pick. I like it.

My mind immediately went here:

Yea I'll take a athletic multisport athlete leader of a team like that any day at that spot. 98% of the time he never puts on the weight or skills needed but a couple times out of a hundred he turns into a good player imo.

Christ for a second I thought we drafted the pudgy kid with the slap swing at the start of the video.

Pick Rank FV Name Pos. Age School Strengths 10 12 45+ Billy Carlson SS 19.0 Corona HS (CA) Arm, Defense, Power Proj. 44 37 40+ Jaden Fauske C/1B/OF 18.6 Nazareth Academy (IL) Bat-to-Ball Skills 76 114 40 Kyle Lodise SS 21.7 Georgia Tech SS Range & Actions Carlson can really play defense and has an incredible arm, and his bat-to-ball performance on the showcase circuit was strong. His swing gives some scouts pause because of its length. Though not especially toolsy, Fauske was seen as one of the more polished high school hitters in the class. Both were picked right around where I ranked them. Lodise I see as more of a low-ceiling utility guy. I don’t know if Fauske will sign for an over-slot amount or not. If that’s the deal, then perhaps they reached a bit for Lodise to fit Fauske’s bonus into their pool

530 OPS in his last month in AAA. Gotta wonder if it's just over for him he should go play in Asia make a couple million and enjoy himself a bit before going into insurance. -

I like it and think baseball needs more stuff like this. Nobody complains that the Harlem Globetrotters aren't real basketball. Just get people out to an event and let them have fun while exposing the game to new audiences. -
Giolito has been dominant his last 5 starts or so. Lowered his ERA to 3.36 and his FIP to 3.69 (nice). Strikeouts are down but he's finally got his walk rate back under control.

Was it largely a BPA draft? If so I like it, assuming their "BPA" wasn't just an underslot guy.
-
Not really that interested in the lineup this year TBH. I'll probably watch 10 minutes and tune out. Same thing with the game itself. We have so much access to baseball media now it almost feels like a few days to unplug instead of tune in.

those were decent picks imo, most those guys never even sniff the MLB in that range. Our problem has been overall not just missing on college bats imo.
