I haven’t followed the A’s situation much, so I’m surprised there is no stadium plan in place. Shouldn’t that be one of the first things to do, make sure you have a place to actually play? Wasn’t the stadium in Tampa built with the White Sox in mind?

Compared to what other entities are getting paid? It will never happen anyway. They'll just be the usual smattering of players who skip the games. It would be quite funny to me, if they had 3rd and 4th stringers for big bowl games, akin to NFL preseason but worse.

Any player destined to play on Sundays should skip bowl games, including ones in the so-called playoff. Why should they risk injury for someone else’s payday.

It’s not a playoff. It’s a reality show. May as well go back to the writers house telling you who the national champion is.
