Seriously, I don't like wishing ill upon others, but I will laugh if anything bad happens to this douche bag. -

I just woke up from a nap to this. Jake Peavy, I hope you have a career-ending injury. There, I said it. -

QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ May 21, 2009 -> 02:51 PM) Not as bad, but didn't Angels tar and feather Sox in 2001 to the tune of 18 or 19 to Love? I think the Sox beat Seattle something like 27-1 in 2000. -

I missed the last 15 or so pages due to lunch. Anything I should know? -

Have we ever tracked a trade on this site that has actually gone through? I don't think we have. Every trade that breaks on this site is a done deal 10 minutes after we hear about it, or it has already been done. -

Wait, a deal has already been decided on? We're just waiting for Peavy to accept or decline? -

Chat crew, is there anything new to this since what we were talking about last night? Any legs to this thing? -

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ May 20, 2009 -> 07:08 PM) I pretty much expected this. I just hope the show is entertaining, well I know Cena/Show won't be...so everything else just needs to be good. They expect anyone to believe Big Show will beat Cena in a submission match? I'm not sure I've ever seen Big Show use a submission. -
Anyone ever see Green Street Houligans? I saw it the other day, and I thought it was great.

And Soxtalk reaches a new low.

My parents don't use the internet much, but my dad recently asked me what was a good, cheap option. I assumed some sort of dial-up, but I don't know. I've always just used Comcast or Verizon. Can anyone suggest a good one?

There's one particular thing I love to see when I'm there. It's a sign that reads "Now Leaving Philadelphia".

QUOTE (shipps @ Apr 16, 2009 -> 08:55 AM) Its funny when you curse at completly inappropriate times. Aint that the f***in truth Pastor Walker. I swear so regularly that I sometimes find it hard to stop it, especially when I've been drinking. I remember a time in college when a friend's mom took us out for dinner. I got drunk and lost control of my filter and kept letting F bombs fly, and kept feeling bad about it. I eventually cursed, then in response to that I said "s***," and then "f***" in response to that, and finally a "damn it." I truly believe, though, that cursing is the best way to show how someone feels. As they explained on Spongebob, curses are just word enhancers. EDIT: Wait, I think it was actually sentence enhancers.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 11:00 AM) Bourne/Mysterio should of really been given more time last night. Swagger/Cena was semi-entertaining...well until the SuperCena finish. The handicap match was TNA-like. If these guys wanted Orton so bad why couldn't they wait until they all get their hands on him at Backlash. As for the picks, MVP will work...he's been long overdue to go over to RAW. Matt Hardy going over to Raw will work only if they give him a good program to work with. Punk going to SD works for me, as long as he'll be feuding with Edge that is. The Miz/Morrison split worked, except the wrong guy got drafted to Raw. Morrison the better of the two is still on ECW for the time being, I don't see this going well for Miz. It'll be interesting to see how Jericho is used on Smackdown. Also, last night Todd Grisham took a shot at Tommy Dreamer saying that he's as much of a legend as the Brooklyn Brawler. 2 ways this was stupid. 1. Why would you bury a face? 2. Why would you completely discredit someone who was there from the original ECW days on & helped put that company on the map. Maybe i'm a little more opinionated on it since I grew up on the original ECW. Motherf***er! I knew I jinxed it. -
QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 09:29 AM) I would rather put up with the screaming kids(and subsequent banning) than the week long silent treatment from my wife for saying I wont take my daughter because I would get banned from soxtalk. My daughter is past HM as well, but the Jonas Brothers are on her radar now. Win-win?

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 08:44 PM) I told my mom that I got a girl pregnant. Took it one step further by having my sister call my mom and ask if she had heard about it yet. It worked quite well. As great as that is, it's just not a conversation I want to have with my mom.

This is a strange question, but if anyone can help at all, it'd be very helpful. Is there a site to see how many times a player stole a particular base? I'm trying to figure out how many steals of third base Babe Ruth had. The best I can come up with is that he had 123 career steals, 10 of which were steals of home.

Brandon Long was the best, by far.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 02:27 PM) She didn't buy it, which I guess is a good thing. She could've easily turned that one on you by saying she's the one who gave it to you. She really could've gotten you bad.
