  1. I know they’ve lost a lot of vendors in the last few years. The move to cashless payments really screwed them. I try to bring as many singles as I can when I go to games for tips because a lot of people won’t tip at all when swiping. The lack of traffic on this site is kinda depressing. Can’t even wallow in our own misery together.
  2. Mine are skewed after the last few years. I answered 1-5 for both questions. Years ago, I would have answered 10-plus. The last few years, I’ve averaged probably 2 a year. I went to one game this year and cancelled plans for the second game after they promoted Getz.
  3. I definitely know him, though he was before my time. I just thought the post I was quoting was regarding strictly players under JR.
  4. I think you can safely remove Boston.
  5. Wasn’t he off the Sox long before JR became the owner?
  6. I assume we would’ve been eliminated in August if we were in any other division.
  7. Didn’t watch the game. Checked out the box score. My first thought was that it would have been hilarious if Kopech still somehow got the loss out of the pen.
  8. Says a lot for the owner that it took him 43 years to find the one guy who did the job right, huh? And who is Allen?
  9. Had to look up this reference. Bedard pulled himself with a no-hitter after 6.1 innings and 109 pitches with an arm that was surgically repaired twice (or maybe it was three times)? I’m not faulting him for that.
  10. Will admit that I’m not a big Italian beef fan. They’re alright. They’re at every party I go to (birthday, graduation, etc.) and I see them as mostly filler. The most important part of them is the giardiniera.
  11. Yeah, but you’re in California, right? Your pizza opinion doesn’t count.
  12. You SOB, I was coming into this thread to derail it with this exact question ?
  13. This joke was gold. Screw you guys!
  14. Just making a joke about how people keep updating this thread with Burger’s stats and how the trade has been lopsided so far.
  15. Tim Anderson’s least favorite anime is One-Punch Man.
  16. Burger has hit 6 home runs through 8 innings so far today. Don’t look into it, though. It’s a double header and they’re not broadcasting the first game.
  17. Truth be told, I’ve never turned away any pizza. The worst pizza I’ve ever had was still edible. As for frozen pizzas, just gimme a Jack’s. Not as filling as I’d like, but still my favorite. If you guys are close to the park (though probably not at a game), gotta get yourselves a Phil’s. Make sure it’s well done. I’d strongly suggest beef and bacon, or beef and sausage. Get giardiniera on both.
  18. You ever have pizza in the Boston area? Garbage. I’ll take Little Caesar’s over that.
  19. Or maybe it’s that everyone else sucks so bad that he looks decent in comparison. This obviously excludes Robert.
  20. That’s pretty much where I’m at. He’s not good, but he’s actually better than what I thought he was. ?
  21. I’m coming around on Vaughn recently. I’ll give him that.
  22. Who were the untouchable players according to the FO again?
  23. Good point, but I also don’t trust these guys to make a good trade anyway. I’d prefer they be even worse next year to push them even closer to making wholesale changes.
  24. Why, so he can pad his stats in a contract year while the Sox are gonna suck? He could’ve done that while the Sox were supposed to be contending. f*** him.
