They’re stupid, but not that stupid. They already know why.

I was going to say this as well. He’s been here since 2015 and goes out to bars every night, and he still hasn’t picked up the language?

Or they just know how things work in the current culture. He was credibly accused of something, so he did it. Like someone mentioned before, he will probably get interest again in a season or two as long as he just shuts up and pitches well.

I hate defending another scumbag, but false allegations are commonly made, especially when involving custody and such. This whole guilty until proven innocent thing is so out of hand anymore.

But who is Theoden and who is Wormtongue? It could work both ways.

I walk to the park when I go to games. It’s extremely easy. A lot of times I want to go just to enjoy the weather. I’ve been to one this year, and it was free. I was going again later this month, but got rid of my ticket when Getz was announced. I used to know several friends and relatives with various ticket packages. None of them have packages anymore. There’s one guy who I vaguely know through other people that still has a package. That is it. Don’t know what else we can do to force change. Apparently nothing.

There’s no road to contention any time soon. What aren’t people understanding about this? JR fucking admitted that we’re not gonna spend money on free agents, so any signing is going to be someone we’re hoping will bounce back. The only way to possibly be back into contention immediately would be to sign absolute studs to huge contracts. It’s not happening. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t trade some of these pieces of crap like Moncada and Anderson. People just need to understand that it’s not going to cause the team to be good.

Sounds a lot like a domestic violence relationship. Which is about right.

I think we’re gonna see that Getz is all credentials and nothing else. Or in Tex speak, all hat no cattle.

It’s all “he” and “guy”. By his own admission, he didn’t even consider female candidates. Get the commish on the phone, we got him this time.

It absolutely can get worse. They’re gonna start 2024 with fewer starters than they did in 2023.

Except the new chef was one of the guys sneezing in the soup just last week.

I know people wanna be positive, but I said this yesterday: “Na, he’ll say the right stuff just like Grifol, and it’ll even win over some posters here. You’ll see a decent amount of posts telling you to give him some time and opportunity to prove he’s incapable.” And it’s so disheartening to see if happening.

The better question is if they’ll take questions. And if so, will anyone have the balls to ask a tough one.

I’m factoring in buyouts. Clevinger definitely has one and I assume some of the other guys do as well.
