  1. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 10:00 AM) How can people have the heart do that, honestly. Wow. They don't have hearts. They don't have souls either. They should die terrible deaths.
  2. I didn't lay down until 3, probably didn't actually fall asleep until 4. I couldn't stop thinking for the life of me. I kept telling myself that I've already seen something that many, many people never got a chance to see, and some may never see. I also had to get up to read two articles before lunch, then study for a Spanish test after lunch, go to classes, study for a quiz in my night class, and get back to study for another test I have tomorrow. Ha, and I'm just fine with it.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 03:27 AM) I would kill that guy if I ever saw him. f*** yeah. Man, people suck.
  4. Add in postseason experience that all of them, minus McCarthy, will have then. That'll make them tougher, I think. I'm sure everyone would agree.
  5. QUOTE(knightni @ Oct 17, 2005 -> 02:39 AM) That picture is f***ing awesome. Wow...
  6. In the 8th inning of the game today, I actually felt a tear in my eye. I can't say for sure that it was a tear of happiness because I was gritting my teeth and was tense so that could've caused it
  7. Thank you, Joe Crede. Thank you, White Sox. Thank you, fellow Soxtalk posters. I've doubted them this whole year, and they've made it this far. I won't change, and I'll keep doubting them until the final out of the biggest game ever for us is POSSIBLY recorded. Even if that doesn't happen, thanks for this season. It's the greatest season I have ever seen.
  8. Didn't someone say there was a kid on the radio that was dying and he only wanted to see the White Sox win it all before he goes? Somewhere in Virginia or North Carolina or something? If it's true, win it for that kid.
  9. Great job by Garcia tonight. I just want to keep winning, though. I don't care about how many innings a pitcher goes.
  10. QUOTE(YASNY @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 04:29 AM) What makes you think a healthy Frank Thomas will only hit .220? That's ludicrous. Didn't even Steff say that he'll probably retire? Yes, it's great to think that he'll come back strong and all, but the guy just can't stay healthy anymore. I love Frank and all, but his approach this year was completely selfish. It was clear that he was swinging for the fences in every at-bat.
  11. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Oct 15, 2005 -> 12:33 AM) Re-sign Paulie, bring bakc Big Frank, let Everett walk and add a solid bat in the offseason. I would love to see Uribe move to 3B, trade Crede and sign Nomah to play SS. Nomah does not have to move, can be had relatively at a lower $$$ and will be a good contact hitter to add to this lineup Starters: Podesednik Iguchi Big Frank Paulie Nomah Dye Rowand AJP Uribe Add Brian Anderson as 4th OF to rest all 3 of our OFs from time to time and let Timo walk. Extend Jon Garland, and bring on the season then. Haha, am I ever glad that you're not the GM. Nomar? He might just retire after this year because I can't think of a decent team that will offer him a starting job, and I think he's too proud to sign with the likes of Colorado, Tampa Bay, etc. I guess maybe he can sign with the Marlins. And Frank is done. He can't really be an asset anymore, even if he can get healthy enough to play. He'd bat .220 with a bunch of homers, and we don't need that. I think it's time for people to understand that he's gone. It sucks, but it's likely true.
  12. That would piss them off even more. Don't need to give them more reason to beat us.
  13. I'm glad that, for once, I layed off of judgment until after a game. Great job, Jon.
  14. I just voted for Cy Garland ~ Quality Start
  15. QUOTE(Brian @ Oct 14, 2005 -> 04:13 PM) Wow, was I disappointed in "A History of Violence". Read good reviews but man did that acting suck and the dialogue was laughable. The story and idea were there but just missed the boat. What's Aragorn's favorite number?
  16. Don't forget our Canadian and Puerto Rican brothers.
  17. To be honest, even I felt like we would win the game when AJP got on. Man, I love that guy. Props to MB. Showed me up.
  18. HAHAHAHAAHHA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS we stole that one.haha
  19. Man, Buehrle is giving us a performance. This offense should be ashamed of the way they've let him down.
  20. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 12, 2005 -> 10:46 PM) Doesn't matter how bad you do in the playoffs... teams seem to only notice when a player does well in the playoffs. Konerko will still get ten million a year. I'm saying he'd get even more if he'd just hit another solo homer.
  21. Geez, PK is really missing out on all of these chances to cash in on a bigger contract.
  22. Regardless of what Buehrle does the rest of the game, he pitched great. This offense sucks balls, but PK might hit a solo homer at some point during the rest of the playoffs and get another million per year. Robb f***ing Quinlan.
