  1. QUOTE(mreye @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 10:35 AM) Famous Sox Fans You are f***ing awesome for finding that. I have new favorite actors and wrestlers now QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 10:35 AM) I don't like Wendt. He was funny as Norm, but he has always come across as a jerk in interviews. :finger To each his own
  2. Seriously, who doesn't like George Wendt?
  3. He couldn't throw a curve that day, it happens. Didn't he have it working only a few games before that? Most likely just some postseason jitters.
  4. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Oct 6, 2005 -> 01:16 AM) It's weird. Cano will make the most amazing play and then botch a routine one. Sort of like Joe Crede.
  5. I just wanted to point out that there are still games to play...but, I did find it funny that ESPN has the headline "Gaffe nino" (the same headline the Sun Times had when Graff couldn't get down a bunt against the Cubs, or something like that).
  6. Crede needs to shape up, and quick. He hasn't been very good at all at 3B.
  7. I'm still too scared to give credit to anyone because I am absolutely TERRIFIED because anything can happen and we haven't been here before. I'm very hesitant to open my mouth at all, but I'll admit that OG has done a good job SO FAR.
  8. Oh, please, please, please, please, please win.
  9. Happy Birthday. Man, I hope you have my kind of luck on your birthday with your favorite team.
  10. QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 11:37 PM) Well then people would be seeing a history of violence no? How is that? We're going to see it after the game tomorrow.
  11. I see a couple nice parallels between the pitchers. Wells taught Buehrle a lot about pitching, and they're facing off. A lot of people were comparing Garland to Schilling because it took each a few years to figure things out, and it seems they'll face off if need be.
  12. QUOTE(JimH @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 02:20 PM) Yes, it reminds me of a taxi driving down the street with its doors open. Cary Grant?
  13. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Oct 2, 2005 -> 09:58 AM) They got the job done though right? Those players were good enough to get us that lead. How do you think someone like Ron Gardenhire is feeling in their players right now? I'm just making an allusion to the quote that OG had during the strike about not playing for the fans.
  14. QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Oct 1, 2005 -> 05:47 PM) when people look back on the way they treated their own team... some should be ashamed. as fruity as it sounds... this team feels like a member of my family, and i defend them like wise. I'll admit that i was down a little during the "bad times" but come on... they fight for us. I think Ozzie Guillen has a different opinion on that matter.
  15. Thanks for the year, White Sox. No matter how it ends, it has been extremely exciting.
  16. I'm glad that we won, but I wish the Red Sox lost yesterday. Man, I don't want to play them in the playoffs. It's going to be so much worse for me than it is for anyone else. I'm gonna catch so much s***.
  17. Let's leave off Cotts. I'm sure Ozzie would be in favor of that one
  18. I think the best hitter would have the best average, OBP, SLG, or some combination of the three, right?
  19. Take Manny out of that lineup, which the Red Sox will do this offseason, and Papi's numbers fall hard.
  20. QUOTE(3E8 @ Sep 30, 2005 -> 04:48 PM) How about you do yours before you get pwned in the face. Too late
  21. Haha. f*** you, Red Sox nation. I hope someone gives me s*** during this series.
  22. I made the picture with Duque, Cooper, and Contreras my background. Ha, I can't wipe the smile off of my face when I look at Contreras on the right. He looks like such a badass in that picture, and he's going to be a key part of our success (or lack thereof, but shhh on that part) in the postseason.
