  1. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 07:36 PM) The Giants looked godawful, especially their secondary. They gave up 437 yards to Romo. They were so, so bad... Romo always gets a lot of yards. Unfortunately for him, the Cowboys and Cowboys fans, those yards come with turnovers
  2. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 07:08 PM) As much as I clearly hate Dez Bryant, I can't fault him for that. The outside of his glove touching the boundary line negates an incredible play? That's such bulls***. Giants fans better not take pride in this victory. I'm not saying it was the wrong call, but it's ridiculous that something so insignificant can lose you a game. EDIT: I expected the final play of the game to be a catch by Austin where his shoelace touched the white line, and they rule it no catch and game over. Yeah, out of bounds shouldn't count if its a great play
  3. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 02:18 PM) Bears lose. They just came out and played like s***. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) Way to cap this tragedy of a game QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) That's game. Just awful. It killed any kind of momentum the Bears got from the previous series. What an absolutely strange strategy to completely go away from Hester, especially considering his current season It was ugly, but a W is a W
  4. Isn't Harden financially impossible for the Bulls without them getting rid of some major assets anyways?
  5. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA The Rockets send Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb and future draft considerations to the Thunder for Harden, sources tell Y! Sports.
  6. Isn't Benoit the best reliever for Detroit? Shouldn't they hang on to him for closing since Valverde forgot how to pitch? Lincecum has been straight up filthy
  7. The end to the Louisville/Cincinatti game had a pretty crazy ending
  8. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 05:19 PM) I hope it turns out that way! You hope it turns out that KW is the "wizard" controlling rick hahn the "almighty wizard hologram"?
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 01:57 PM) The same information that is available to everyone else. That KW has been a GM for more than a decade and has won many more trades than he has lost. I have no reason to believe that a completely inexperienced Rick Hahn will be effective at the myriad of things that go into working out a trade. The stuff today has made it completely unclear to me who has control. It does seem that to some extent JR probably wants to get further away from personnel decisions and is probably going to give KW some of the veto power that JR once held. The same guy that has been KWs right hand man in the middle of many of the trades and negotiations is completely inexperienced? Interesting
  10. nobody hates you greg. They disagree with you and your views vehemently
  11. what an embarrassing display of postwhoring by SS2K5
  12. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 09:35 AM) I don't even know what to say about this: http://t.news.msn.com/pop-culture/ny-polic...ook-eat-women-1 They are saying up to 100 women were on his grocery list
  13. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 09:55 AM) I have no desire for Rick Hahn to make trades based on the information I have available to me. Kenny has been doing that for a long time and honestly has a pretty damn good track record. I have a feeling Hahn has been the brainchild behind free agent acquisitions for a while now. We'll probably not be sure what's going on from here on out. LMAO Mr Optimistic all the sudden has a heart pang of pessimism. Do tell, what is this information that is available to you?
  14. This will be like GarPax unfortunately. Everyone is going to say he is a puppet with KW pulling the strings until one day, like with GarPax, people start to realize that Hahn is making independent decisions with KWs input not with KWs direction. And that is how it should be with a GM, they have a team of people they work with including their supervisor(whether it be team president or VP or whatever other title is between owner and GM) that comes to conclusions together.
  15. Mike Williams made some ridiculous catches last night. I flipped on the game only a few times, but everytime I did he made a unreal cacth
  16. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 06:51 AM) Ron Washington chose to start Verlander over Sale. It's his fault the Tigers are losing the WS. The fans voted in Prince Fielder over Konerko. It's their fault the Tigers are losing the WS. If Ozzie managed the game, the AL would have won 35-0
  17. QUOTE (Cali @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 01:25 AM) Well great for him and his family if that's the case, but I don't really want a GM in title only. If Kenny is really the GM then just stay the GM. Seems pointless to just pretend this guy is something he's not. That shouldn't be how a baseball front office is presented to fans. This is all how you percieve it. None of knows what actually is happening in that front office in terms of personnel decisions. For all we know, Rick Hahn could have had a far more heavier hand in decisions than any of us every knew. KW has already talked multiple times about how much he has to do with negotiating contracts. This "Rick is just Kennys b****" talk is purely speculative.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 10:17 PM) The Tigers thank the American League for losing the all star game again and again losing homefield advantage. This will be the third year in a row the NL wins the WS. Wow. Tell me who started that All Star game? And also, tell me how many runs he gave up?
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 01:59 PM) No s***. It does not make it any less hilarious? Please post video of hilarious jackassery and in the spirit of this thread, i would also like your box score and current record as well
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 01:36 PM) Let me know when one of you is scheduled to call Les Grobstien's show about this AL-NL issue. He will eat you alive, or try to if you say the AL is totally dominant. Im not up at 2 AM listening to radio
  21. I have a feeling Delonte will do something pretty bad when he is finally done with the NBA(or, rather, the NBA is done with him). That guy aint right
