  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 23, 2011 -> 06:09 PM) Joker raped and crippled Barbara Gordon. He blew up the second Robin. He's a ruthless murderer. It's not like he wasn't a dark, mean-ass dude. And he sure as HELL has a lot more to his story dating back over half a decade than Darth Vader's film career. For those holier than thous who find it so ridiculous that Joker is 1 and blame it all on Ledger, he'd have been my #1 regardless if that movie existed or not. He is a mean, mean dude. Im not going to argue who is a worse murderer, they were both pretty bad, but that is a pretty ridiculous statement. Vader was basically a one man genocide machine and hunted every jedi in the galaxy down except for his own two kids, he destroyed Leia's entire planet in front of her face. Anakin ruined Vaders mystique and now everyone sees Vader as the whiny childish kid portrayed by Hayden Christiansen
  2. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 24, 2011 -> 09:10 AM) The newest teaser trailer is insane. That airplane scene is pretty remarkable. Have you seen an official release of the prologue yet? I saw a bootleg of it, but havent seen a good copy of it yet

  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 10:34 AM) there's no way that's an accurate list. why is that, what is missing
  6. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 10:49 AM) The Knicks would be dangerous if they had a defensive minded coach, they got some natural scorers, it's as if the Knicks FO thought, "well, we tried winning a title with defense during the 90s, that didn't work, so let's be the Phoenix Suns of the east". I disagree. Every season for them since the end of the 90s has been "throw money at what is available, preferably the best available. but if not, oh well". there hasnt been a very distinguishable plan in quite a while And it got them a mismatched roster with a mismatched coach. D'Antoni was the hot name when he was available, nobody cared that he didnt preach defense, he won a lot of games in Phoenix. The Knicks outbid the bulls for him, and then signed and signed and signed more players
  7. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 11:16 AM) So, possibly no Kobe on Sunday. Phil Jackson's gone, Odem is gone. Wow, Sunday should be fun for the Bulls. Bynum also is serving his suspension for his flagrant against Barea in the WCF. The Bulls could see a very odd Lakers lineup
  8. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 10:01 AM) He sure loves younger hot women.. yes he does
  9. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 09:15 AM) That needs to be the slogan for 2012. Re/Re/Re/Ridiculous
  10. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 08:24 AM) Two pre-season games is enough bro? You do know even the post-Jordan 90s and early 2000s Bulls won pre-season games right? Dragan Tarlac was better than Bill Russell, if Tarlac played on those teams he would have dominated Wilt
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 10:06 PM) You can't listen to the content, you should know that's garbage. But looking at these two bicker back and forth on national TV and the looks on Stephen A Smith's face were totally worth the 5 min. I know not to listen to them, but I actually liked what SAS said, he was pretty reserved and thoughtful about what he was saying. The looks on his face were awesome when Bayless started talking for sure
  12. Skip Bayless "I love Derek Rose off the court, but as I sit and listen to you(stephen A smith) break it down, I do not love Derek Rose on the court" STFU Skip, anything you can say to be the opposite opinion that literally made my brain hurt. Bayless effectively caused brain damage by talking
  13. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 08:12 PM) Wtf is happening? 2012. Prepare for the end
  14. QUOTE (heirdog @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 08:02 PM) I really think the thread title should be changed to "k0na breaks story on Danks ext...heyman confirms" Guy has been money and deserves some credit on here...I'm impressed at an actual insider who has the cajones to repeatedly post this stuff and dare kw to find out who this guy is. I like this idea
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 08:01 PM) My question is how is he able to publicly disclose the information without getting his source in trouble? I think he has been overlooked for a while and because he isnt a member of the media he isnt scrutinized. That could change rather quickly now that we are trumpeting his accomplishments and Heyman is talking about him breaking the news
  16. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 06:38 PM) Has Danks ever even been on the DL other than the oblique injury this year? I don't worry about injury at all with him. I think he realizes he had a down year, that the Yankees/Red Sox/Angels/Rangers are going to be pretty spent out for the next few years, and would like to stay with the Sox. Yes, he might lose a few million signing a deal like this, but then he'll avoid talking to the Nationals and the Marlins and just stay where he wants to be. I wouldn't be shocked if Mark's experience didn't weigh on Johnny a little bit here. He had that weird circulatory thing where he couldnt feel the tips of his fingers. I think he went on the DL for that

  20. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 04:38 PM) If Danks does sign an extension sometime soon and the terms are close to 5/$65M then Doug Seyller deserves are undying respect because no writer whether national or otherwise has even hinted that the Sox and Danks are even talking and yet some f***ing Art Designer with 182 followers on twitter already has a dollar amount out there. This would be at least his 3rd big get. I would argue 4th. Remember, he called Peavy...twice. I remember that night in chat when you were like "look at this post on the MLB boards, guys." And we laughed
  21. QUOTE (flavum @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 04:04 PM) I can't promise this will work out, because I have no idea, but what if they felt getting a good starting pitcher in the system was more important than having Santos another year when they have a lot of confidence in Reed? If they keep Thornton, Ohman, Frasor, Crain, and Reed along with some long relief, that should be enough...and Molina will be at AA and be ready to go in 2013 at the latest. I just don't think Santos being traded is a deal breaker when it comes to the Sox competing in 2012. I dont think it is a dealbreaker, but lets be honest, our top two relievers are no longer in the bullpen with Santos traded and Sale moving to a starter. There is a lot of question marks in the bullpen after Crain/Thornton at the moment. Frasor and Ohman were spotty at best
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 03:59 PM) If that's the rotation, having a strong and deep bullpen should be mandatory. Thank Goodness we didn't trade away any relievers this offseason. LOL is this supposed to be in green?
