I saw The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus last night. Good flick, interesting how they were able to seamlessly work in Ledgers friends as his alter egos.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ May 11, 2010 -> 10:04 AM) The Sun-Times suggests the Bears install Field Turf in Soldier Field. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/hayes/22537...-bear10.article Athomeboy cheers. the city of chicago cheers. The field is embarrassing for Chicago, and it gets worse as the season progresses. I am no fan of artificial turf, but this makes sense for so many different reasons.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ May 10, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) Please go after him Jerry; From what I have read, Otogwe is a really tough one to go after because you have to drastically overpay to keep him and put a poison pill in the contract to avoid the Rams matching the offer.

all dislike would be out the door the second LeBron slipped on a Bulls jersey. If we can forgive Rodman, we can certainly let Lebron in the door.

SSDon, Including Tiffany "New York" Pollard on this list would of been an even bigger joke than Katy Perry being number one.

Some of the choices for Superman are baffling. It is no wonder why that franchise has been in development hell for the better part of the past 25 years

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ May 10, 2010 -> 01:32 PM) Looks like the Big 10 offered Mizzou, Nebraska, ND, Rutgers, and Syracuse. I would bet Syracuse and Rutgers will jump on the offer, and possibly Mizzou and Nebraska. It would set up a nice 10 and 10 merger for the Big 12 and Pac 10 if they chose to join forces. http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/report-big-1...-an-offer-28336 -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 10, 2010 -> 10:00 AM) I thought I was depressed...lol...well, you can still at least make an argument for Teahen over Punto/Harris at 3B. And it's hard to say Morneau is clearly better than Konerko based on 2010 results alone, they're pretty even. And for most of our starting pitchers and bullpen head-to-head against the Twins' pitchers in the same slots. The argument wouldnt be 2010 alone. I think everyone on this site to a man would take Morneau over Konerko. The guy is a perennial MVP contender

QUOTE (KipWellsFan @ May 10, 2010 -> 02:46 AM) Meh. Both Howard and Cheadle are very forgettable in the role. That being said it's a pretty fun action movie. I didn't really dig Mickey Rourke's character. I'm still trying to figure out what his beef was, and I couldn't really figure out if he was a bad guy or a good guy. And all that stuff about the new element... chincy plot device that made my eyes gloss over. His beef was with the Stark legacy and their role in the cold war, wasnt it?

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 10, 2010 -> 07:01 AM) This Minnesota series is as big of a 2 game series in the beginning to middle of May can possibly be. The Sox really need a sweep, but winning one is imperitive. If they lose both they are 10 games back. How many White Sox teams have made up 10 game deficits and won their division? It is so depressing to know this is true.

Castro didnt commit an error. That was classified as an act of god by the scorekeeper, thus keeping his perfect fielding percentage intact. you score it AOG in the book, and technically the batter doesnt even get the at bat in the stats.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 12:02 AM) No, I saw your joke. I don't know what you're talking about with Dye, though. when Ozzie first started up his twitter account, one of his many musings was "Why Dye have no job?", and it was pointed out that he tweets the same way he talks, which is pretty funny

with all of the Yankee problems getting old, it is still mentioned in the article that they have only lost once since April 27th, so it doesnt look to be affecting them too much. And a lot of the injuries they have are minor, and the players will be back playing fairly soon. The only thing that really affects this lineup hardcore is if 2 of Arod, Tex and Jeter go down for extended periods of time. They can stand to lose one of them, but if they lose 2 they will be in trouble offensively. Pitching wise, they still have a pretty damn good rotation, even with Javy gas-canning it up at the back of the rotation
