  1. http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/1....sightings.wfaa One person sees it, it could be debatable. An entire town sees it, not too much to debate. I like how the military used the Jets training in the area excuse, it reminded me of Rhodey in Iron Man

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 05:51 PM) Old man justice, the sweetest kind! I like Eastwoods new grumpy old badass roles
  3. QUOTE (TCQ @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 07:44 PM) Before this year where he saw limited action he always had a very good range factor. He led the league in 2004 for cf. Why cant he overcome this mitochondrial stuff and do it again? Because he cannot replace his mitochondria. He is going to have issues with stamina for the rest of his life.

  5. QUOTE (G&T @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 05:21 PM) He can play only 3 times a week max and rarely will go 9 innings. After further review: Petition Denied
  6. QUOTE (Disco72 @ Oct 25, 2008 -> 01:08 PM) Without giving away anything proprietary, can you clear up the "process" debate that is going on here? If these verification features are turned off by the merchant/campaign, are these "caught" by the merchant/campaign at some future time? If not, are they then caught by the credit card company at some future time? Or can these charges/contributions go through without "verification" if the cardholder wants them to? Honestly its hard for me to discuss much, all I can really say is that verification isnt as "bigtime" as you think it is.
  7. I work at Chase in Credit Card fraud. fraudulent charges in the name of BOTH parties exist. We get them quite frequently

I rented the Incredible Hulk yesterday. The fight scenes were awesome, especially the final scene. I actually came away thinking that this movie was really set up for a nice run if a production company could commit to the franchise. A few minor things bugged me, The Hulk clap and Hulk smash were pretty cool. There was a really cool mix of the comic book and tv show genre, I liked the old school sad TV show music, and I also liked seeing Lou Ferrigno in his second Hulk cameo.
  9. Bulls showing some fight tonite. Specifically Kirk Hinrich vs Richard jefferson
  10. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 10:35 AM) Personally, I don't see the Brewers trading Hardy for Vazquez. I just can't see Vazquez returning a solid starter, especially a SS. The demand for Hardy would be high. You also have to consider that the Brewers will be staring at a huge void in their rotation after CC and Sheets hit the market. With not too many options available. Javy is signed, and even though we all see his complete crappiness, he has ability. The brewers may bite out of necessity
  11. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Oct 24, 2008 -> 10:37 AM) I still think Snakes are worse than Spiders though. I'm Indiana Jones bad when it comes to Snakes. that might be because your homeland contains 9 of the 10 most venomous snakes in the world.
  12. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 04:09 PM) That was a really predictable scene. In fact a few minutes before that scene I was thinking "one of these kids is gonna get shot in a random act of violence, it's about due to happen any minute now" True, the scene was very predictable. It was the followthrough that got me. The silent scene where the camera pans on the kid and he is just staring with his eyes open. And SF1 named the movie for me, it was Hardball.
  13. There was a scene in that Keanu Reeves baseball movie where a little kid gets shot, very sad scene. I definitely lost it there
  14. You shall be the manliest man in the history of man applying vaseline to your nipples prior to your workout
  15. QUOTE (shipps @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 09:02 AM) I noticed after a really tough workout yesterday at the gym my nipples have hurt since.Iam guessing that its from my sweatshirt rubbing up against them. How the hell do I prevent something like that? pasties lol
  16. QUOTE (shipps @ Oct 23, 2008 -> 07:38 AM) Yeah that one got me too and it was unexpected because I didnt expect much from the movie when I started watching it. Sammy Davis J.R. J.R. I was the same way, but the movie really sucked me in. I like the "You dont eat meat? Not even sausage?" exchanges that they had throughout the movie
  17. The pennies in the jars/cans and cowbells are annoying. Im glad chicago is above that crap and thundersticks
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 04:55 PM) theres internets and McDonalds too damn, Im moving there now I found this and thought I would share
  19. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 05:19 PM) The first time I watched Fearless (not the Jet Li version; the one with Jeff Bridges as an airplane crash survivor) I cried at the end of the movie. There are some intense scenes in that movie. The car crash scene with U2 as the background music was crazy
  20. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 21, 2008 -> 05:41 PM) It's my second biggest pet peeve ever. My biggest pet peeve is when someone passes you going about 85, pulls into your lane, and then slows down to about 77 (with 75 MPH speed limits and me driving my usual 80 MPH). If it's on the interstate and I am in the clear, I usually pull into the passing lane, floor it until I get to about 94 MPH, and simply let it coast back down to cruise control. I'll be a good half mile ahead of the asshole at that point and hopefully without flashing lights behind me. There is expressways in North Dakota?
  21. Another one that got me close is "Everything is Illuminated", at the end when the grandfather takes his own life due to guilt
  22. the words on this subject title dont go together
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 12:28 PM) He's going to play much more basketball this year than he ever has in his life as it is. To play him 37 and a half minutes in a game that doesn't even count is asinine, you should be doing as much as you can to keep him fresh, especially during the preseason. He played 10 more minutes than anybody else on the team last night, stupid. I misinterpreted your comments, I thought you were saying he needs to play more. I agree completely, carry on
  24. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 22, 2008 -> 10:46 AM) Was it the one that was taken from 6 different people's video cameras? That was incredibly powerful. It was a lot of different videos, the newscasts, personal videos, etc. I lost it when the newsman who was on the scene started describing the people jumping from the buildings, and watching them. The showed a few clips of jumpers and it just hit me really hard
  25. Martian Child got me close, the little kid in that movie is phenomenal. I watched a documentary on 9/11 on the history channel that got me pretty upset
